Keep an eye on xbox.com tonight....its been up and down again and Major nelso just posted a "Stay Tuned

" when asked when we could log into the site.

My xbox features may be up sooner than we thought.

Really awesome. Although for some reason it's still telling me that my Xbox's serial number has already been registered to someone else... which is true, except I canceled that Gamertag a long time ago. :'(

You get gamerpoints (affects your rank for matchmaking, among other things) for completing various tasks in games. Every game has 200 points, IIRC. Basically a way for matchmaking to group people together, ie someone playing online with 30 points won't be matched against someone with 500. Not sure what else it's for other than bragging.

Are we going to be able to choose our own "gamer pictures"? Or are we stuck with the lame stock ones? It would be so easy to allow custom ones, but maybe MS is trying to keep things family-safe..

I don't have that card anymore, but I had my XBL account linked to my Passport long ago. I just never had Xbox.com account.

I also don't have my Xbox connected to the Internet. Why do you have to establish a friggin connection just to view your account info? :/
