The only way this will affect my gaming habits it if i have to unplug the network cable when a unfavorable game is played.

The only thing so far I can imagine would be game selection, system possession, or selection level.

Speaking of that....for the ultra competative, will this make them choose the 360 version over the others so they can get the Gamer points/Accomplishments from the multi-console game?

Could be a nice bump in sales overall for that type.
