Yep all 720, 721 when Volcanion the event happens, are now obtainable within the game.

Yes, all 721 Pokemon should be available with the pentagon now after these and Volcanion are distributed.

I'm happy I get all these pokemon (once Europe details are out) but I'm sad that there won't be that sense of community.
I remember making my dad take me to toys r us when I was about 8-9, before the release of Diamond to get mew in fire red and there was this big tent which had loads of people queuing outside it and although I was super young, I felt like I was actually part of something.

I've transferred my Mew through every game since and still have it <3

I wouldn't worry, Canada always gets the codes through EB Games. Hoopa was different because it was only distributed through wifi at a specific location and even then it was easy to get.

I would hope this all applies to NA since our games are the same region but I don't know about the store based ones. They didn't give a shit about Canada when it came for Hoopa

Most mythicals have no hidden abilities. I can't think of one honestly.

But most regular Pokemon with hidden abilities are available via ORAS/XY. The Legendary Beast/Birds are missing, though.

The first Pokemon ranger, the manaphy egg is on the cartridge, but it's one per cart.

I don't think the 3D transition helped either. They would need to create more assets for those events and being 3D, more time consuming.

there should be in game events to capture these guys, and the mystery gift just allows you to access them. like the faraway island in pokemon emerald.

Downloadable catching events would have been 1000x better, but I guess the whole idea of a mythical is 'a shiny and rather useless bauble you get handed for being in the right place at the right time' so I suppose this is in the correct spirit.

Yeah. One of my all time favorite Pokemon memories is the sheer tension and excitement I felt climbing the stairs to the Hall of Origin and initiating the fight with Arceus.

100% of Pokemon were obtainable before Emerald was released (in Japan). So it doesn't guarantee a new generation.

In the past EBGames eventually got the codes, but after the last event with Hoopa skipping Canada entirely who knows.
