I sent you a PM but figured I'd post here too, I have a NA Darkrai code that I was hoping to trade for a Jirachi that I missed.
 
when I try to use the codes for the RBY birds, i'm getting the message:
"Your game cannot receive the gift this code provides."

Has anyone here had this problem?

That message means you're trying to redeem codes from the wrong region, so you're either entering NA codes into a PAL game or vice versa.
 
If anyone goes into a Gamestop and they tell you they are out of physical Darkrai cards, apparently there is a way for them to generate one on a receipt without even making a purchase. I had this nice employee execute this method for me successfully (Finally) yesterday. Got my NA Darkrai.

And with that knowledge, I stoop to code begging: Does any generous soul have a G1 Legendary Bird Trio code (NA) that they want to give up? Pokemon.com's customer support basically told me I'm shit out of luck because I failed to receive the newsletter.

I managed to get another NA Darkrai code. Anyone willing to trade a Hoopa for it? A fully legit Hoopa, not cloned or hacked or anything like that.

A Shiny Xerneas event has finally been announced for Europe. Shiny Xerneas codes are being distributed at by Neo Tokyo at Retrospillemessen in Sandefjord, Norway from 14th May - 15th May. Additionally codes for the Legendary Birds and Mew are also being distributed.

Both Shiny Xerneas and Yveltal were also distributed on the 14th at a StreetPass meeting, located at the Nevsky Centre in Saint Petersburg. Weird that they're doing all these low-key distributions.

Stopped by two local Gamestops today and they were out of codes :( They both told me I should've come during the beginning of the distribution, but I was busy with finals, haha.

I have a spare Hoopa and Jirachi to trade, looking for a Darkrai and Diancie.

I don't know if I'd consider it good news, I don't expect to be able to get my hands on one of those codes myself. But I'm happy some more of you guys will have access to the event, I absolutely love how those shinies look.

It was in the last mail out. I thought I missed it but it's at the end in that mail. If you've been receiving the mail every month before then you should have it by now.

Quoting myself here. I don't think people are reading posts...

Bug the gamestop clerks to look up information. There's a way to get a code printed on a receipt from their system. No purchase necessary.

I've gotten every email up until the May one and even confirmed I was signed up on my account. Never got the bird email. Looked through every possible spam and trash folder. Apparently TPC didn't do a great job ensuring everyone got codes.
 
Thanks to whoever posted about the legendary birds that can be caught in XY, it took me a few days but I finally got a Zapdos I'm content with even if it doesn't matter (won't use it).

I caught it in a Premier Ball, and it has a +SpA nature (I gave up trying to find a Speed one). The IVs aren't that great but whatever. I don't even like Zapdos, I'd try harder for Articuno.
 
I've still got 3 NA Mew codes hanging around if anyone would like.

I'm also looking for the Legendary Bird Trio codes if anybody would be so kind.

edit, the 3 legendary birds were at the end of an email which started with darkrai, than an expansion in the card game, THAN the birds~

There's a couple of local distributions, but both are currently restricted to a single country and possibly a single place. Yveltal is currently at a festival in Spain, and I can't remember where Xerneas was but its similarly limited.

Hopefully we'll get something better later.
 
I traded away my Mew and one of the Shiny Xerneas. Still looking for an extra copy of Diancie and Hoopa. I have Shiny Beldum (x2), Shiny Xerneas, Celebi (x2), Jirachi and Darkrai for trade if anyone is interested.
 
Europe gets absolutely fucked in these distributions.

Why is Xerneas and Yveltal event exclusives? NA can get them from NA distribution. So fucking annoying.

If anyone is willing to send a spare shiny Xerneas my way, I'd deeply appreciate it :)
 
If someone could get me 2 Darkrai US codes (one for me and one for the boyfriend), I'd really appreciate it. Normally I go get a bunch of extras and give them out but I've been working too much lately. If I can only have one then that's totally okay.

Edit: Actually I just remembered I have a Darkrai, dang. Could I possibly have a Kanto Birds please? I know it's a big request so no worries if one isn't out there. I don't really know what I could trade but I'm willing to.

For those in Singapore, you can get a event Pikachu from 27th May to 31st July 2016 by visiting the Pokemon cafe at Bugis Junction's EwF outlet (4th floor).

Finally some mainstream distributions of Shiny Xerneas in Europe have been announced. Shiny Xerneas will be distributed in Norway, Finland, and Sweden although specific dates have not been announced. More will come.

Currently Announced Shiny Xerneas Serial Code Distribution Locations:

Denmark: Gamestop from May 13th until supplies run out.
Finland: Gamestop from May 13th until supplies run out.
Norway: Gamestop from May 13th until supplies run out. Neo Tokyo at Retrospillemessen in Sandefjord, Norway from May 14th until May 15th.
Sweden: Gamestop from May 13th until supplies run out.
Russia: StreetPass meeting, located at the Nevsky Centre in Saint Petersburg on May 14th. Send a email to legendaries@nintendo.ru from May 16th until July 10th.​

Currently Announced Shiny Yveltal Serial Code Distribution Locations:

For NA regions they are distributed via Nintendo Network, Xerneas ending today and Yveltal from May 20th until May 26th. In the Korean region, the common serial code for Xerneas is TUE05PM, the common serial code for Yveltal is POKEMONXYZ, and the common serial code for Zygarde is ZYGARDE. They will be available until June 30th.

Europe is still paying for leaking XY. Game Freak/TPC doesn't forget and forgive.
 
I'm going to be in Europe all of September and I was wondering if that would cause any complications getting the NA Mythical Pokemon (Victini I think).

I figure I should still be able to just access the mystery gift like always, but I didn't know if there was some weird region thing I'd have to worry about.
