Mythical Pokemon being distributed throughout 2016

It seems Smyths in the UK have codes for Shiny Xerneas. Our resident Pokémon expert says they are printed on cards, though, and not till receipts. Better go get one quick if you have a Smyths nearby.

I hate this gamestop thing tbh.

I would just skip the gamestop codes if they didn't have all the best ones. Mew, Darkrai, Arceus and Genesect? Sigh, fine, you win gamestop.

The day I got the mew code was the first time I had been in a gamestop in at least a couple years

umm where is mew two?

Mythical Pokemon = pokemon you can't normally get in game and can only get from distributions like this (e.g. Mew)
the big deal about this is that they are distributing ALL mythical pokemon there've ever been* over the year.

Mewtwo is just a regular Legendary Pokemon meaning you can get them in some of the games themselves without needing any sort of special event. For example, anyone with a copy of X/Y can find and catch a Mewtwo in a cave in the area I think is called "Pokemon Village" after beating the game.

(*minus Deoxys who used to be Mythical but now can be caught in any old copy of Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire)

Honestly this is even worse if you're in a country that doesn't have some store distributing it. I'm in Brazil which is exactly that, so for all of these code mythicals I need to rely on the generosity of a GAFer since there's no other way for me to get them. It's extremely confusing why Nintendo didn't just distribute them all through the internet.

this is exactly the same for me...

but I understand why this happens, basically... money. Gamestop payed for this to be thier exclusive and it has been working like that for many pokemon distributions, not good for us, but good for them

And Hoopa and Volcanion. Don't know when the latter will be distributed outside Japan. Hopefully they do an online event, instead of silly codes.
Volcanion still hasn't been released in PAL, am I wrong?

And in Europe at least, Hoopa was available with HOOPA2016 code two months ago... so while technically not part of the anniversary wave, it was still available.

Ohhh come on.. why call it a monthly distribution when they are not available for the whole month... just bitter that I missed Shaymin obviously :(

We need that code distributed Hoopa in NA. That is the only pokemon I am missing.

My favorite part of this thread is everyone coming on the 25th and beyond of each month and reading the same exact complains six months later.

At this point is kinda hard to be sympathetic towards people that forget the distributions always ends on the 24th.

It's harsh... but yeah I agree.
You guys had 24 days!
Most older distributions were way shorter, some only lasted a week.
3 1/2 weeks to boot up Pokemon and select 'download' is plenty of time.

Yep, I have a Hoopa from that McDonald's distribution in the US (which I got by using my phone as a makeshift access point), but as you said, it wasn't part of this anniversary distribution. WIsh we could get a Volcanion soon, and easily too.

Missed the Hoopa event due tot he McDonald wifi station being labeled differently in Canada. I hope we get an online event for Hoopa again this year in North America.

Where on ebay are you guys getting these codes for mythical pokemon? If anyone here has one to give away for any of them, I'd appreciate it, but if not, could you point me toward an ebay link to them? I'm curious about the prices they're selling for.

The time has come!

One of my favorite pokemon are being released as a media I can somehow get!

I'll try to keep in the thread, if any get one extra code from Gamestop US, let me know please

I need one code too!

I'm not... on US soil... or a country with Pokemon Go... or distribution...

Jesus.

oh c'mon, that doesn't mean anything, it is not out in my country and yet I went to with my friends to a park to catch pokemon and there were literally hundreds playing it.

there's always a way. For code distributions? gaf are nice friends
