Yes, I believe! The front of the card says "August 1-24" but that's just the distribution period. The small text on the back has the expiration date (it's near the end of November is all I remember).
In North America? October 31st. In most parts of Europe, November 23rd

Yup, Mystery Gift via internet should get you a Keldeo in the UK up until the 24th. The search shouldn't even take a minute, let alone 30.

Haven't they done every store 20th anniversary PKMN distribution through email later on because of backlash?
They did with Mew/Darkrai so I'm guessing they'll do the same with Arceus/Genesect and they might do it as well with Volcanion. They've pretty much given legendaries away like candy this year.

Cherrim? Might be slightly on the obscure side, but it's the only Pokémon with a support ability unique its evolution line I can think of.

Well I was gonna say Victini with Victory Star but then you mentioned evolutionary line.
Every other ability that affects allies positively have multiple pokemon that use them as far as I know and Gen VI has Flabebe and Spritzee but you're looking for Gen 1 to 5. Hmm...
