Pretty sure it's once per game and not once per cart, if it matters... You can always reset the game to redeem another one, I think.

No, you cannot redeem two codes for the same event pokemon on the same game. If you want to redeem the two codes, you will need two copies of either XY or ORAS.

I'm jealous. I've got almost all of the forms you can store in the Bank but I gave up on Vivillons.

You can't breed patterns. You always get the pattern from your own country so unless Nintendo does another Vivillon event, you are out of luck.

Had I know about Vivillion variations earlier, I would have go to route 2 before restarting the game when I played the beginning of Y a lot of times to farm mystery gifts :/

When is the pattern set? When you capture scatterbug or when it evolve into Vivillon?


I'll probably do this sooner or later, once I know all the details... After all, I've farmed Mirage Island to get dittos of all natures, all at least 3IV and most 4IV, it's probably worse...

(on a related subject, I wonder whether shiny probability is really 1/4096... I've already found three shiny dittos in ORAS, without the charm, with less than 2000 encounters, there's something behind. Maybe there's a chaining mechanism involved)

Most are unavailable now. I think if you can get an Arceus it will still work and Volcanion is the one available at GS at the moment.

All is not lost though, these are available through online with a code due to reissue.
