N64 SP - A Portable N64 using real hardware and game cartridges.

That's actually one of the less Frankenstein looking attempts to refashion the console into a portable, that I've seen.

Still huge, but that looks pretty nifty.

That's cool but I think N64 in 2020 sucks for singleplayer outside of a few gems.

The real advantage is multiplayer to me, and even then the awkward transition to 3d holds up horribly. I play goldeneye split screen at 720p but even then it's tough wrestling with the controls sometimes. Smash and Mario Kart are great, along with several others.

That homemade N64 console looks very thick and uncomfortable to hold for any extended handheld use.
