I'm importing my PS4 from Amazon, cuz I live in Brazil, so I'm wondering if I'll still get warranty if maybe something goes wrong with my console... ( I know that I'll have to ship it back to the US, but I dunno if sony will cover it =/

I'd guess you'd need to pay shipping to and fro honestly, if they honored the warranty at all.

I contacted customer support and they said it would arrive on time and not to worry. So I guess I gotta hope they won't let me down. I think they have only been late with shipping 1 time in the 4 or so years I've done business with them so I'm probably being overly paranoid.

Same here, it seems like they're doing it based on location. People are going crazy for nothing. I'd only worry if it's 12 in the afternoon today and nothing happens.
I wouldn't even worry then. I've had preorders ship as late as 2AM the day of and still received them on release day.
Though I am within 50 miles of 2 distribution centers.

Yep. My card has a hold (debit - holds happen when charged, so it's effectively charged.)!

My AC4 order didn't have an email confirming the charge, only the "your order is shipped" one. But the card was charged right when it went into "preparing for shipping". That's the norm, afaik.

For anyone who ordered off Amazon and used a Amazon Chase Reward card and used bonus points towards your purchase when you do so it does not remove the bonus points from your balance. So if you preorder months ago (in my case as soon as preorders went up) and then happen to use bonus points on some other order you can create a situation where you have insufficient bonus points and your card will get declined. Yay!
Then when you go to update your order and fix the issue it will change your shipping date until next Tuesday. Sucks to be me, now my order delivery date is the 19th instead of tommorrow.
Wish that Chase/Amazon would remove the points from the balance instead of letting you get into a situation like I did.

Contact amazon support, ask them to upgrade you to overnight shipping. It's what other people have done in this thread and had success getting it to show up as arriving on November 15th.

As soon I updated my card they charged it and it is now too far along the process for them to do that.
The first support person I got a hold of told me that when I updated my card it kicked me to the back of the processing line which is why my delivery date got all screwed up. Looks like I'm stuck waiting until next week.

Same thing happened to me. I changed the information it changed the date but it changed back to the same delivery estimate I had before after a few minutes. Because of where i live i have to pay for one day shipping to guarantee that I would get it on the 15th so don't know if upgrading your shipping method could help expedite the "preparing for shipping process"
