I just purchased New Little King's Story. I originally have it for the Wii, so it will be interesting to see the differences. I'm contemplating getting Tales of Xillia 2, but while I enjoyed the first, I didn't really progress much it in, plus I'm not that inclined to finish it.

I paid $35 for Dungeon Hunter Alliance when it first came out and I don't regret it. The game is great fun. Even if the performance can be a bit janky in spots.

Absolutely, they gotten great praise from PCGAF. Ziggurat is one of the few games in the past few years where you get to blow up evil demonic carrots.

Kind of a "meh" game from the reviews... but for some reason I want to check it out too. Almost picked it up...but then saw the PS3 price at ~$10 & figure the PS4 version has a ways to drop yet. Backlog length means this is one I'll wait until its dirt cheap....

Yup, I lost an entire afternon to Hand of Fate and Ziggurat. Excellent games for cheap.
Picked up dungeon hunters myself and so far I'm enjoying the little bit I've played. Hoping enough people buy it so as to try out some four player coop. Since that Ruin game got cancelled, this game will have to suffice.

I tried Game of Thrones episode 1 just to see if its worth to buy on this sale, but it felt a bit underwhelming like most Telltale games not being Walking Dead. Think I will pass until it goes on sale for 5 dollars.

Not all PSP or PSX games can be downloaded directly from a Vita system even if it is compatible.
You must first download it to a PS3, connect PS3 to Vita and transfer. To some it's a hassle.
Not true vita games though, right? Those would be psp titles...

I'm having trouble making a purchase. I just want to get Valkyrie Chronicles 2 for $5 and it keeps saying an error occurred. I tried a different card, same problem. Then I deleted all cards and tried both again and still same problem. Am I just locked out for a while? Nothing seems wrong with the cards after checking. Anyone else have this problem?

EU got discounts on good AAA stuff like FF games.
You are expected to watch at least up to episode 13-14 of the anime before starting the game, as characters from S1 aren't introduced to the player and the cut-off point of the story (where game begins) is in a 'what-if' situation during episode 13-14.
Nothing from S2 is covered in the game (regarding to Sinon's backstory or anything regarding GGO) but some elements from latter parts of S1 (Leafa (Sugu)'s role in the game) are brought up.
And you aren't missing much with the anime to begin with honestly :l; S1 ended with episode 13-14, then we have Hallow Fragment and Lost Song covering the rest of S1. Just.....hate what the latter half of the S1 pulled with Asuna's character

.The only one I know outside of those are the Untold Legends series (PSP games, not sue if they work on Vita) and Silent Hill: Book of Memories (Vita game).
The former looks like a strong series, as reviews of the games seem to be positive
. So, if they are Vita-compatible, then they should be a fun time.The latter is a Silent Hill-themed Diablo clone with a good combat system, great Silent Hill music and lots of loot to find. There is also DLC for the game that adds more content to the game, but I never got that.

I've tried 4 different browsers on two different computers and my PS3. All gave me the same error. I think I might be locked out, but I don't know what the security practices are for PSN. If a transaction fails do they suspend purchases for a time period? Can you check that anywhere? My SEN account didn't have any messages or alerts.
Mmm....I would guess that you got the game already if the system doesn't want you to buy it :l. Did you check your download list on your PS3/Vita? If the game is listed on there....then you must have bought the game already but the system didn't 'recognize' that at first, leading you getting the game for 'free' or something :l.
That type of thing never happened to me, so I'm sorry I cannot help you

I think this happened to me several times in the past. I'm from NA and my cards stop working every once in a while. It's a glitch in the system that has been around since 2011 or 2013 and has never been fixed. Your credit card will not work and can't be charged. You can put games into the cart, go to check out, press "Confirm" and you'll get an error. You can't buy anything using any PlayStation 3, 4, or Vita storefront and at the same time you can't do it online or with any web browser on any computer. Even if you delete your cards and put in a new one, it won't always work.
However, my experience is that this problem will eventually go away and you can buy using your cards again, but it'll take time. In the meanwhile, you can go to Amazon.com and buy the PSN Credits ($5, 10, 20, 50, 100) and it'll immediately give you the code to put into PSN wallet. You can then buy whatever you want. Inconvenient, yes, but it's the only way I've been able to buy a game and not rely on the PSN correcting itself and letting me use my credit card. Let's say you wanted to guy like 3 games during this sale, which ends tonight/tomorrow, then you can't rely on PSN correcting itself. Just go ahead and get PSN credit through Amazon and buy those games.

I am loving Castle Storm, what a fun little game! And it's the Definitive Edition so there are multiple campaigns, seems to be a long game.
Yeah, I had a pretty good time with it on Xbox One. The game is 8-10 hours and the extra campaigns are better than I expected. It doesn't wear out its welcome and has some really nice challenge deeper into it.
Dungeon Hunter Alliance is a solid game for those on the fence. The story so far (~1 hour) is pretty interesting. Definitely more than I've ever cared about any Diablo story. I can see myself pulling this out a lot during the day for short play sessions over the next few months.
I went for it too, $5 is hard to pass up. There's some framerate issues from some impressions given so far, but overall it sounds like it's a good time. The Wii game was awesome, so if it's close to that I'm really looking forward to playing it!
If I ever find time...

Yea I looked through the thread a bit and saw those framerate issues mentioned. Unless it crawls to like 1-3fps then it might bother me.
Not sure i'll even have the time to play it now since im going through FFX hd and plan to do persona 4 golden after lol. Just keep adding to that backlog :X

Bought the PC Engine games, VC 2, Elminage and Warriors of Lost Empire. Adding the Sega Genesis Collection, is a shit lot of games for $17.

Is there a common time that these sales expire? I have GoT episode 1 free from e3 week, I want to play that first before deciding on the season pass that's on sale here. Will I have time to play it tonight or will the sale be over by then?
Just starting out with Tales of Heart R, but it is fanTASTIC so far! Loving the humor, and enjoying the battle system so much it makes me want to give the PS3 games another chance... I really need to finish those!
