For those not familiar with the game Tokyo Wars(and I'm talking to the console folks), its a Tank-based multiplayer arcade game from Namco(System super 22-based) similar to say Twisted Metal, but more like Alien Front. In fact, Alien Front was SEGA's response to Tokyo Wars.
Anyhow recently I noticed that Namco was granted a trademark renewal for Tokyo Wars, and considering that its been nearly 10 years since the game first appeared in the arcades, its obvious Namco is probably planning a sequel and possibily for arcade. If its for arcades, chances it might be unveild alongside the new Tower of Druaga arcade game at JAMMA next month.
BTW if you would like to take a look at the trademark renewal itself, just do a trademark search(not patent) for the serial # "76638000" at the USPTO
