It's a strategy RPG, like Super Robot Wars. Seeing how it's being developed by Monolithsoft, I really don't think you want this game to be a fighter.

if namco is licensing (potentially) mediocre stuff like arc the lad generation, and RPGs that have no hope in hell of selling (druaga) cos the company is RPG crazy right now, the only thing stopping this from coming to the US is some sort of falling out on rights between namco and capcom in the US, i'd wager.

but you never know.

and hey, if namco doesn't put it out here, maybe capcom needs a SKU. =P

Incredibly cool. I was a major sucker for Cardfighters because of all the unexpected characters and the amazing artwork. Looks like this won't disappoint... it's almost what I imagined Cardfighters could have been if you could actually see those battles taking place, instead of two cards just clashing together...
