hmm, 2 small to comment but it seems that either gears of war is fake or no one but epic knows how to code a game for x360. We shall see. :)

Actually, the difference in graphics from a good looking game to a bad looking game will be even more apparent next-gen. We are at a point where time and money save your graphics. High quality graphic takes time = it takes money.
Another thing that will also come into play even more than before is the talent of the artists. When then graphics can look good no matter what you do (almost) it's the art that makes them stand out more than ever before.
 
Fuck Namco, they're probably putting their shittiest in-house dev team on this. At least get teh AC team to make an AC game for the system. Fuck.
 
If they are having such a hard time with certian games on xbox 360 I dont want to think about what the lesser ps3 games will look like.

I've been reading Xbox 360 news all night, totally stunned - what the fuck is this shit, a joke??

I think calling it Xbox 1.5 isn't quite fair - Xbox 1 would be a bit closer. Now the name makes more sense - 360 degrees takes you back to the beginning.

I went to the Japanese page and saw 5/16 and the first thought that came to my mind was (in a Jon Stewart voice) "Oh My God! They're releasing the xbox360 and (like the Saturn at the first E3) the surprise is it'll be on store shelves this week! Namco just gave away the release date of their game/the system!"

Look my past posts, I'm not bashing the system - I'm getting it anyway. And I love the overall strategy of Microsoft and believe that they'll get 35-40% market share this time.

But I do NOT like moronic marketing managers. I do not comprehend why the show some of the crap they've done. That's mostly that have met my eye.

So what games look cool - PGR3, GR3 very cool? Kameo not bad as expected?

Have we seen any EA games? How do they stack up with the trailer a few weeks ago.

Could it be that having to cater for 720p means there is not much juice left for improved geometry and texturing over the current gen? Maybe if MS dropped the requirement to support high def we would have gotten much nicer looking launch games?

Just trying to make some sense out of these god-awful looking 360 games!
 
Well I remember someone posted Namco would show a racer (or even Ridge Racer) for Xbox 360 or something like that. So was the news fake? :lol
