Ok, I think we're talking about 2 differenct action figure lines here. Both lines consist of figures that were about 6 to 8 inches tall.

Line 1: I CANNOT for the life of me remember what it is called. Only that there were about 6 figures in the line, it was futuristic, and ARCHIE Comics had the license and created the comics for it. From the best of my knowledge there was 1 character in the bad guys side who only said words like "Destroy, Incinerate, Damage, Attack, etc."

Line 2: About 6 figures in the line. The gimmick here was that the figs had sockets ALL over their bodies. You could jam weapons and gear anywhere on them. It was a total sci-fi themed line of figs. There was an animated TV show that I only saw on video. One episode involved an ALIEN themed beast in a dark space station. The creature was like a black panther with tentacles.

Please help, this has been driving me nuts trying to track this stuff down.

Not sure about the first, but the second is CENTURIONS.

EDIT:Or is it...

AWESOME! Thank you! I had the "Jake Rockwell" figure. If I were part cyborg I'd want to be called Dr. Terror too.

Now what the hell is that other toy line?

Oh, one more bit of info on the first. I think you could tear all the appendages off the figs and but them on other bodies. Totally re-arranging them into new figures. I think the main bad guy had a monicle.

haha i remember i had a Centurion. It was the green one that looked like Tom Selleck, but i lost all the pieces so i was stuck with a green guy with holes all over his body. Captain Power (mentioned above) kicked ass too.

I remember playing the "game" on Captain Power every weekend when it was on. Each vehicle toy had a trigger and light sensors that detected if you shot at a certain target on the screen during the show, and it would keep track of how many hits you scored. Additionally, there it would detect if something shot back from the screen, and if you got hit too many times, at least in the case of the good guys' fighter that I had, it ejected the pilot.

And as for the first, was it Baron Karza?

I had something like this, except it was white. Unfortunately, I think the toy was a hand-me-down, so it was missing its head, and some other pieces.

Edit: Oh, guess not. :(

i remember that, we had a videotape of those captain power video "games". I remember my brother used to play it with a flashlight and swore he was affecting the stuff that was happening on screen (explosions and what not).
