Tonight, at 11:00pm, the auteur Nathan Fielder will release his next master work The Rehearsal on HBO...
I was going to watch this episode but I got into an accident driving my Scion 100mph.Definitely not as funny as Nathan for You but both episodes have ended in pretty interesting ways. If you liked the series finale of Nathan for You, this is the natural evolution of that.
This show earns...
Same! “Door city over here” and “it’s days like this that I curse the Chinese for inventing gunpowder” are both such incredible lines.Loved the first episode!
There were so many doors in such close proximity! That was such an awkwardly delivered, classic Nathan line. I await the opportunity to use it in my life at some point.Same! “Door city over here” and “it’s days like this that I curse the Chinese for inventing gunpowder” are both such incredible lines.
Being locked behind HBOmax probably doesn't help. I wouldn't have gotten to see it at all if my gf didn't get a free sub to HBOmax with her cell phone plan. The fact barely anyone is talking about this makes me sad.
How bout the cringey pool session with Nathan, I think covering his nipples and trying to get super close to the guy, as a staged swimmer enters the pool. There were so many doors in such close proximity! That was such an awkwardly delivered, classic Nathan line. I await the opportunity to use it in my life at some point.
Vice did an interview with that guy. Often with these things I wonder if the person just came off badly because of the edit. But going by the interview it doesn’t sound like he was really misrepresented.Crashed my Scion at 100mph.
This show is an absolute gift.
It's basically him helping people to confront an issue they have by allowing an intricate "rehearsal" of the variables they may encounter.I’ve watched the trailer twice and I still have no idea what the show is about
Clicked the image. Saw it was posted at 5:55 and got shivers down my spine. Definately means something deep.I guess things worked out for those two
He is a druggie and she is a super overly religious person......I don't know how it would work.I guess things worked out for those two
Also she had referenced that she used to drink and smoke weed a lot and it seemed like finding religion was a big turning point in her life where she then moved away from that stuff. So I can't imagine her being really into him doing weed. In that interview I posted above he does say they feel like they're meant to be together so maybe they have a connection that goes beyond what we saw on the show.He is a druggie and she is a super overly religious person......I don't know how it would work.
I bet he believes in Halloween.
I did feel bad for the inheritance guy, but I hope he got what he wanted from his brother, but his brother must have been pretty awful to dictate not to give an adult their inheritance.
Wonder if she saw the episode yet?I guess things worked out for those two
Yea the last one lost me a bit too...i think Nathan himself looking quite significantly older makes it come across a little weirder too. Holding out hope it'll pick up, though! The shows losing steam for me a bit. Nathan Fielder being less comedic, while the show laughs at people with personality disorders, is rubbing me the wrong way. Still enjoying it but not nearly as much as Nathan for You.
No it is on HBO which is run by demons. She just wanted to experience motherhood and a garden over the course of 2 weeks.Wonder if she saw the episode yet?

It’s a well known film amongst VHS collectorsUm did you do a keyword search "Halloween satanic origins" mmmyea
Had me laughing pretty good
The show is fucking wild. We should be glad that this is what Nathan Fielder channels his psychopathy into.
Nah, still two episodes to go. Last one airs 19th August. Are all the episodes out now? I want to binge them when it's possible. I did watch the first episode last night and this show is incredible.
Nathan moving the conversation away from the Judaism discussion by asking Angela what her favourite movie was only for her to say Apocalypto and that she loves Mel Gibson's work. Incredible moment. The ending of episode 5 made me laugh. “What do tou think of Palestine?”
Never seen anyone so nervous.
She should have said the passion of the Christ.Nathan moving the conversation away from the Judaism discussion by asking Angela what her favourite movie was only for her to say Apocalypto and that she loves Mel Gibson's work. Incredible moment.
I expected a new person every episode too. And I think that would be more interesting. The lady just became to much and it was more about Nathan than the person. So I did get HBO Max to watch this. I was a bit disappointed after episode 2, as I was expecting just several episodes with a different person & premise each time. Kind of got bored by this latest episode (5 I think). Here's hoping the remaining stuff brings it back around.
