Lebron will get another ring this year for sure hes a lot more confident and assure of himself which was the biggest issue holding him back

GSW v. SAS is a must watch, but I'm not sure about the earlier games. I miss NBA action so much, but I don't want to watch the Knicks. I'm conflicted.

The MVP is going to be Lebron unless something super special happens

LeBron's just gonna coast this season, so I don't see him winning the hardware. Unless his relaxed version is much better than the closest competition, then he has it in the bag.

But Paul George exists, so he's not winning it this season.

Let's go Raptors!

Coming for that #2 spot!

Alright then......lets get the bulls number 7 and you will never see it past the first round. Bulls have had raptors numbers for years no matter how good of a team they had lol.

New York vs Cleveland will be a must watch for me easily. Want to see Rose get his ass handed to him by the King.

Lebron has momentum and has already commented that he would like to another one. If it's a tight race between him and 1-2 other people, he will win. I'd put him as favorite after looking at everything to be honest. He was coasting last season and still had some pretty great stats, he was still top 4-5 even with coasting.

If LeBron is that petty he'll go for MVP this season
His body is going to break down at some point so get as much rest as possible

But if LeBron is as cocky as I think he is he's gonna be in game 5 mode every night

He'll get no sympathy if he tears his ACL this season , take a break LeBron

Went in with a few friends for season tickets this year so got me 8 Spurs home games. Looking forward to it, should be a fun season. But no Timmy though...

Never been to an NBA game, but since I live in Austin I'd prolly have to see Spurs or Rockets. May check it out when Pacers or GSW come around

Should be a fun season. Really excited to watch the Wolves and Milwaukee.

Curious to see if my Raptors win 50 games this year as I feel the roster hasn't improved, but I'm happy we signed Van Vleet. From what I've been told, Terrence Ross spent most of the off-season working on attacking the bucket instead of the DM's of celebrity thots, so he might be our x-factor - I've always felt he had a higher upside than DeMar, but lacked the discipline, so if he's actually focused on basketball now, he may actually reach that potential.

This is the first season where I'm actively trying to get into the NBA as a fan and I can't wait lol. The only problem is I'm having trouble trying to pick a team lol. I have family ties to Toronto and been there a few times, but I want to support a team that's the closest to where I live (like the 49ers...FML) but something about gsw besides the bandwagon rubs me the wrong way. The kings are also close the 2nd closest to me but idk if I can handle being a fan of 2 shit teams atm

I dunno, I feel like it's going to be a repeat of reliance on Kyle and Demar's heroics. The former moreso than the latter. I don't see us making the conference finals this year again.

The Golden State Warriors will tip off the season as odds-on favorites, but no team has attracted more bets to win the NBA championship at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas than the New York Knicks.

The Knicks opened as 100-1 long shots to win the title at the Westgate but have been bet down to 60-1. They are all the way down to 20-1 at MGM sportsbooks.

The bets on the Knicks aren't very big, but there are lots of them. MGM assistant sportsbook manager Jeff Sherman said the average ticket on the Knicks is $25.

New York opens the season tonight against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, who are the second most favored at 11-4. The San Antonio Spurs are next at 6-1. The Warriors are 2-3. No other team has odds in the single digits.

While the Knicks are attracting the most bets, the big money is on Golden State. At William Hill's Nevada sportsbook, 36 percent of the total money bet on the odds to win the NBA title is on the Warriors.

The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers are each 20-1, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder at 30-1. The Celtics have attracted the second-most bets, behind the Knicks, at the SuperBook. The Cavaliers are third in bets, followed by the Spurs and Warriors.

The Brooklyn Nets are the biggest long shots on the board at 1,000-1. The Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns are each 500-1.

MVP probably goes to main player on team that gets #2 seed in the West, barring some really crazy breakout season for a possible MVP level player. Warriors split votes, Lebron will wait until the playoffs to go SSJ

If Spurs - probably Kawhi
If Clippers - idk which of Blake or CP3
If Portland - Lillard
If Rockets - Harden
If Memphis - Gasol (??)

etc.

Gonna guess Kawhi

ben simmons isn't actually injured, but intentionally dropping for that 8th seed

then they go 16-0 in the playoffs

That's not the trust the process way

They get 8th seed on last day on a losing record, lose first 3 games in every series, every game they win they're down until the last half of the quarter, every loss is a tactical blowout where they allow their stars to rest

Go to the finals and sweep the WC team.

Trust the Process

Lifelong T Wolves fan.. Do I get my hopes up? This is our best chance since KG, Spree and SC but we are still young.

In Thibs I trust ... I am excited for a season but my gut tells me not to get fooled...

Lifelong Wolves/Minnesota sports fan here as well. My cynicism (resulting from the aforementioned) says to not to get your hopes too high, but I think they will be a fun team to watch if nothing else.

Wolves, do it for Flip! This video of the Wolves winning the number one pick still breaks me up. Today is the one year anniversary of Flip's death. RIP Flip.
