Joel just confirmed on his twitter that the pickup was for 22 more episodes. I was worried it'd only be 13. :D

Sweet.

And HD is necessary for me, because I've been watching this show in HD and looks great, checking it out on SD no thanks. It makes the show brighter and more colorful.

Someone over on SA brought this up and I'm posting it here for DetectiveGAF:

We know the woman in the episode that plays Courtney is Glenn Howerton's wife.... but this does look like Glenn Howerton in the pool table scene for a split second right after they rip off their underwear:

Damn, Glenn gets her, a Knicks City Dancer, while Mac and Charlie get Dee and the Waitress :lol

That guy in that picture almost started to look like Bryan Adams :lol

That chick was pretty cute and may have liked Jeff until he went naked... also noticed quite a bit of disgust and embarressment from Britta's reaction, but only Annie really enjoyed it...wonder what that says about his manhood and what she prefers? :lol

This may be the most perfect first season of any show ever made.

And that last ep was among the best episodes.

The love that abed's character gets is just so amazing. That approach to the girl he made in his 'other persona' was one of the funniest moments I've seen on TV in a long long time.

I don't think anyone's still using this one from an older episode, so I'm going to grab it. If I missed someone with it, let me know and I'll change back

So happy about the renewal. NBC is pretty reliable when it comes to giving low-rated sitcoms a chance to grow.

Not decently-rated talk shows, though. :(

Thank goodness for the renewal. Thank you dear Lord Abed, we appreciate you bestowing your graciousness upon us.

Are there certain parts of the country that say BAG-EL?

I've always lol'd in real life when people pronounce it that way

According to that article, it is in some smaller cities in mainly Canada on the east coast that pronounce it that way... I've lived in East Coast Canada before, never once heard it proounced that way in small Ontario towns.

I think Britta got laughed at harder for pronounciation of Bagel than them finding out she was taking tap. Pronounciation is serious business.

I didn't think Wikipedia would go there, nice.

I wasn't sure if it was like a pop/soda type thing

Great episode, it's nice to see them develop Abed more instead of being a one-trick pony. Jeff scene was pretty good too but he's really losing the superficiality and douchebag-ness that makes the character.

Jeff's pussy whipped... whether it be for Britta or Professor Stevens, and soon Katherine McPhee's character

I liked the shout out to Mad Men being that Alison is on Mad Men as well.

Wait a minute.

So if she's on Mad Men, and they've watched Mad Men, wouldn't they have noticed that there was someone on that show who looks just like Annie?

Shows within shows make my head hurt. Yeah, I know*, but still. :(

Ah good ol' TV Tropes.

I forgot this Jim Ross quote from Lampshade Hanging.

If I live to be 100, I will never understand why they keep so many damn weapons under the ring. It's like they want the wrestlers to use them on each other..."
—Jim Ross, WWE RAW

:lol :lol

So Jeff has a thing for tall brunettes?

Also, his nudity has a couple throwbacks to previous episodes: the Valentine's one where he says "so I have to show Britta my penis", and the STD fair one where Annie admits to having never seen a real penis (hence her reaction?)

EDIT: I have to change my avatar soon, it keeps getting quoted. :lol
in before someone quotes this edit with my avatar

Did anyone else notice this guy in the episode?

Werewolves of London became popular song with the movie Color of Money. If I were to go out on a limb I'd say that the above character was in that movie. I don't recall him so maybe it's just a throw away moment.

Bag-el. Hahahaha. Man, that was a great episode with minimal Jeff. Good to see the cast if just as funny without him.

Whoa. You just blew my mind.

I never really payed attention to this show but last night at work I was bored and watched an episode on OnDemand heh. Great stuff, watched all 4 they had to watch. I will probably try and watch the rest of the season as well. I don't lol irl much about shows, but this shit is hilarious.

I must've missed that quote in that episode, I haven't really rewatched it since that first time, not a fan of watching Joel and old guy nekkid.
