Funniest part for me was Troy admitting he didn't understand the Cooke Crisp joke. :lol

I felt exactly like that. I thought they were going for a Disney Fantasia look before someone mentioned the mascot. :lol

Also, is it just me or does anyone else thinks it's strange to rewatch an episode because you weren't sure if you liked it? I don't know, I just can't rewatch things on my own so quickly. Usually wait for the dvd. :lol
No, I do this sometimes, especially for this show, I seem to love so much about it, the humor and the cast, I want to give it a 2nd chance.

I feel foolish, that a cereal name like Cookie Crisp sounds like a cerel I used to know but have no recollection of its mascot or even having tried it before.

Oh my god there were so many laugh out loud moments in this episode. If they keep it up, it'll become the Thursday NBC Comedy I watch first rather than third out of seniority (been watching The Office and 30 Rock longer).

Ahbed so gooooood

I loved the part where Troy admitted to not understanding the Cookie Crisp joke but was going along with it anyway because I was doing the same thing. Back in my day it was a burglar too. :lol

Actually, it's because 30 Rock sucks.

I'd wanna take this avatar but the smallness and the darkness of the scene the gif is very dark, hard to make out what's going on.

I think I found out what's irking me about this episode after a 2nd watch through... the actors are almost trying too hard to sell the joke it comes across kinda awkward...

The episode starts losing it for me shortly after the intro in insanity

Speaking of episodes I didn't enjoy... the Jack Black episode. Jeff was made part of the school newspaper as well as Annie and Abed as reporters, they completely abandoned that idea immediately after that episode and has not been mentioned since. I know it's dumb to read too deep into storylines and plots for sitcoms but some continuity would be nice... it's like the people are making changes, for the sake of change, but abandon it cuz they can't make up their minds if it works.

It's almost like this is some sort of comedy based around situations:(

I don't wanna be a buzzkill

I've concluded the funniest stuff in this episode was Annie and Shirley's bits.

Sorry Britta, I've failed the team :(

One of the lower tier eps, but still a joy to watch. Britta buzz-killing it up was hilarious.

Annie and Shirley were frakkin amazing. Annie and the pepper spray... :lol

There was continuity with Pierce and his level 6 laser lotus in this episode (from the Christmas one), but I agree the school newspaper part was abandoned quite quickly. Perhaps it was a comedic dead-end?

You're off the team.

I didn't like the Jack Black episode either

Didn't really see a problem with that episode myself. Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. Very meta though, so I can see why other people didn't like it.

Worst eps are the ones I don't even remember.

The only episode I flatout think is mediocre in comparison to the rest is Interpretive Dance. Everything else has been A+++ 10/10 awesomeness.

Last week(Jack Black Episode) was phenomenal in portraying the awkwardness that comes along with a forced member or friend. We have all had times when we were ashamed or embarrassed of an individual that leeched into our group. The person would not go away and would result in the immoral attempt of ignoring and belittling them. But just when we gave in, we realized that the problem was not the individual, but the group. Last week's episode epitomized that fact and was genius television making.
Finally talking some sense in this thread.

It's shocking that the least funny episode was centered around the least funny character.

I loved the Jack Black episode and i usually hate his schtick. The writers did a great job of subverting his usual annoying traits, because he was meant to be ultra annoying and cause derision within the group. I think they played that up spectacularly.

Basic Genealogy would be my vote for weakest ep.

I love Britta and I will die by the almighty sword for her but in terms of the funny; my top 3 are:

Troy>Pierce>Annie

Um, what? How is Abed not on there?

Abed>Troy>Jeff

Also, Anni is far more attractive than Bitcha. And funnier, too.

oh, I thought someone said it was when you guys were stealing eachother's avatars

yea, lots of people mistake her for keira.. i did myself and jibril told me it wasn't! :( her name is jacqui ainsley and I guess she played a character in heavy rain. I dunno, though. never played the full game.

Seems like they also ditched Annie/Vaughn. It hasn't been mentioned since that ep.

Anyway, I just got around to rewatching this week's episode. So great.

I was actually going to mention this too, but you beat me to it. However, they did mention it saying Vaughn was on a "vision quest" like the next ep, but that was the last time it was mentioned. I would assume they will get back to him before the season ends just to end Annie/Vaughn or perhaps they'll give it one line or something. They've been pretty thorough thus far so I would be really surprised is they just totally dropping the ball after having an entire ep focusing on it.

Fresh off a ban, thoughts on these past 2 eps:

Pottery one - great episode, however, it falls under the same category as the previous ep: great, but not as good as the two that preceded it.

- “Ghost-ing” :lol
- the SS Nose Candy :lol
- “as soon as you got on the ship I could see the seamen inside you!”
- Jeff singing Righteous Brothers was great

Britta buzzkill one - Awesome episode, much better than last week’s. I was in stitches several times. Troy in particular rocked this episode.

- Pierce’s “level 6” costume/wand :lol
- The Dean: “is he having a stroke?” :lol
- Annie pepper spraying herself was hilarious
- Troy: “ohhh, colonial burn” :lol
- Troy: “its not a meteor wand, it’s a cookie wand” :lol

I thought you said after subsequent reviewings you enjoyed it more, but it's still that mediocre to you?

The episode was great, maybe I am teh biased cuz I am Team Britta, but it had a fair amount of Troy in there as well... but lack of teh Annie may contribute.

It may not have been bust a gut funny, but it was still entertaining. I also get attached to the characters to what goes on with them, than just what funny joke they do can make me laugh, which is also related to why I find random scenarios that get brought up and forgotten the next few eps never to return slightly annoying.

fun fact. i have never laughed once watching seinfeld or AD.
but when it comes to the office and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
big lulz.
Doesn't sound like a very fun fact at all, actually...

That's a shame.

I know the latest episode brings light to the fact Britta is often seen as the least funniest character on the show, but she still has some decent funny bits but not as wild and crazy as the other characters, she had me laughing pretty hard during her spanking scene. I've found it difficult in general to find attractive women genuinely funny in my experience... Britta is alright but not that lame.

Like Solo, just came off a ban. Man this show has grown into an awesome comedy. It, Chuck, and Lost are the only shows I really look forward to each week.
