Nbots, turn in your uniforms here

Gizmondobots - Turn in your badges here! :lol

Seriously, does this even need to be a multiplatform forum anymore? Sony and Microsoft fansites approach these shows with more reason and less drama.

OMG it's all Sony from here on out. Nintendo is spiraling toward irrelevance. Microsoft is destined for second place! Yeah, so much has changed since before E3. Anyway, if anyone else wants to be a gamer, be sure to pick up the Sony shirt, Microsoft pants, and Nintendo shoes. They'll serve you well.

Care to elaborate, or are you too busy throwing a hissyfit over "teh Revahlushun"?

I'm not throwing a hissyfit at all. The only thing I had said was that Nintendo had said before that it wasn't the coming out party for the system and that is that.

You should've had a backup uniform like me!

I'm heartily amused by all of the people playing the "they didn't show their cards yet, so let's not get upset by what we don't know!" card.

Well, we do know some things. Let's list them, shall we?

-The Rev should be 2-3 times more powerful than GC. That is less powerful than X360 and far less powerful than the ONE CONSOLE FUTURE. Too bad about that, New Sexy.
-They didn't show their gimmi- I mean "Revolutionary Aspect" of the console because they're afraid of the comepetition stealing it. :lol Come off it. X360 launches in six months, PS3 in roughly a year. That's plenty of time to steal something so "revolutionary". Riiiight.
-The system is one big retread box. Or little retread box. Yeah. Awesome, Nintendo is using it's past success to sell more future systems!
-Mario Party 7.
-SSB at launch, new Mario, Zelda and Metroid in development.
-3rd iteration of the GBA in 4 years.
-Rev is going online... one gen after the competition.

So we know all of that. Also that you can play with Dogs and whatever the fuck Electroplankton is. Shrewd use of your time, boys.

My point is this: do these seem like the actions of a console maker that is trying to "innovate" the industry? Or more like the actions of someone trying to rest on past laurels and shovel gimmicks out there because they don't want to get on board with what the industry has become? Gaming and gamers don't want a Revolution. They want EVOLUTION. Sony and MS understand that. Nintendon't. And that's why you guys should turn in your stupid fanboy unitards, not because footage wasn't shown.

There isn't always a Spaceworld, it's been cancelled before.

Spaceworld takes place in August. I believed they abandoned it cuz it was too close right after E3.

I think they will release more info on Revolution in TGS ( November). If not, it's their loss.

I'm willing to give them one more chance before the screw up any futher.

Yes, well, it's been established that you have no taste. But Mario & Luigi was one sweet, sweet game. Too bad Nintendo is putting it on the worst gaming system on the face of the earth, or I would definitely pick one up.

Who cares? You're making a ton of assumptions and filling in holes to fit your perception. Nintendo's not getting back #1. If you look at the machine with that attitude in mind, it really can't help but be amazing.

The absolute worst thing that could happen is Nintendo releasing a console with third party support that doesn't sell. Since N5 is probably it for the big N, let them do their thing. They definitely got the aesthetic design right, unlike some other companies.

As a former hardcore Nintendo fan (1990-1999), this showing was expected for Nintendo. Nintendo started off as the amazing beauty who in time has cut her hair short, gained 70 lbs, developed an angry attitude, and stopped wearing makeup.

I might still get it but the PS3 so far has been the definitive buy for me.

one of these things is not like the other one...

I have concluded that Nintendo is stuck on selling the past and will never change that way of making games. They want gamers to relive their childhoods in every game they release. Nintendo loves little kids and wants to keep adults at that age as well. Therefore, I am officially selling my Cube and DS and will just stick with PS3 from now on. I do not want to play kid’s games anymore and Nintendo is truly done in my book. =[
