.exe files are restricted? wtf?

In Iraq a lot of things are restricted. Part of the game, there are ways around it just like this place if I type gaming-age.com that is restricted but, if I type ga-forums.com that is not.

ebgames and gamestop are both restricted but, amazon.com at the videogames section is not.

I don't understand. Are video games part of the terrorist agenda?

Can you provide more insight?

They must be afraid giving Iraqi's access to EB and Gamestop would give them access to purchasing the missle-launching PS2's.

In reality it's poor application of firewall management. But, the major thing is that here we need to conserve bandwith for the use of mission critical applications. The average joe on the net out here is d/ling crap so I can see why they restrict what they do. However, there are times when I need to get legitmate software but, it takes for ever to get approval to get access to a banned/blocked site. So for the most part I try and find ways around it.
