$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
Download the free/trial version of TMPGEnc and use the free DivX codec. XviD will provide better compression, but isn't quite as intuitive. Just install DivX or XviD first, then launch TMPGEnc. It makes it pretty idiot proof. No, I'm not calling you an idiot.

I've always found AutoGK pretty damn easy to use. Let it do it's thing, and you'll end up with a nice and beautiful XViD or DiVX files afterwards.

Make sure you have DiVX and XViD codecs already installed though.

thats great thanks .

but the file I have is already a DivX file .. any way to copress that ?

will those programs do it for me?

If it's DiVX, then it's pretty well compressed already. You could recompress it I suppose, making it smaller resolution with AutoGK...

edit: Nevermind. I just checked with AutoGK. It only recognizes .MPEG files as input files. You can't recompress DViX or XViD with it.

AutoGK RULEZZ MAAAANN

I LOVE IT ...

and yes .. I can't re-compress through it ..

what about those PSP video editing programs ? won't they work ?

You probably have to transcode it back to MPEG 1 or 2, then AutoGK it again. Probably the same with the programs like TMPGEnc that people are using to make PSP compatible MPEG 4s.
