Well my friend used it and now all the settings are screwed up, is there anyway to reset it to the default settings? I have the '01 edition.

what settings? uninstall reinstall would guarantee that....

I believe all your settings are stored in the normal.dot (template file) go search for that file and rename/delete it.

I think the default location is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\normal.dot

Stuff like the top bar has mysteriously dissappeared, it no longer lets me pick all the fonts for some strange reason. I realize that reinstalling it would work, but I was wondering if there was a way to just press a button, I remember someone telling me to delete a certain folder a while back when I had a problem like this that reset everything.

View --> Toolbars --> select whatever you want

Thanks beerbelly that worked! BTW I looked for the folder jeno4, but there were 3 other folders in the Template folder: "1033, Presentation Desings, and MseNewFileItems".
