So, ATI's been nagging me to register my ATI X800 XT.

I'm trying to register it now, but I've come to a grinding halt. They need the Product Part# and the Serial#.

The card came installed in the PC. Is there any way I can go about getting these numbers without opening up the case?

anyone have any idea if there's a utility for the PC that will tell me or something? I've had this ATI page open for hours.

Bookmark the ATI page, open your machine to get the numbers, and go back to the page. If your machine has thumb screws you may be able to open the case and see the numbers without even stoping the machine.

I'd have opened up the case by now.

I don't know if there is a such a utility, you could do a search over at the forums at www.rage3d.com though, you might find something there.

OK guys. Thanks for the info.

I thought it might have been possible, as there's apps for the Xbox that tell you the HD serial number. Thought that kind of info might be easy to extract from a video card as well.
