Chili Con Carnage!
Dunno if there are any Flash users here or not but any help greatly appriciated.

I have a 9 key frame animation that i need to repeat several times (its a bird flying, and i need it to fly all the way across the screen), what id like to do is position the 9 frames once, then copy/paste them as a group and move them all at the same time. I can copy and paste them fine, but cant see a way to move them all at once.

Is there anyway to do this?

I wouldnt mind doing it the hard way except i just did it once then realised i started in the wrong place and have to do it all again ><;

Listen to your heart, when he's calling to you. Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going and I don't know why, but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.

Check out this page (link below) at Macromedia's site, it does the trick perfectly. I've had the same issue before.

Basically you just gotta click a button that says 'Edit Multiple Frames' and then you choose the beginning and the end frame markers (so you choose the span of frames you wish to edit) and then you select all, and move move move.

The page explains it much better.

This is actually very easy. You need to use movieclips.

Just create a movieclip (either by doing it manually, or just create one frame then convert to symbol, and choose movieclip). Then place your 9 frame animation inside the movieclip timeline. It will repeat indefinitely unless you tell it to do otherwise.

Now back in the main movie, you should still see the first frame of the movieclip you just converted. Just motion tween that across the screen and voila.. bird flies across screen.
