Neil Druckmann hints towards his next game

"Structured more like a TV show" = many game updates with new content split into seasons = GaaS

He's talking about the GaaS TLOU Online, which is the next game to be released by ND.

yea looking at it like that, it does sound like that is what he is talking about.

I thought it was just going to be a MP only thing with no story, but looks like they want at least some narrative thing going on.

Maybe its about the war between FEDRA, WLF, Scars etc.

That sounds great, until you realize what kind of people work at Naughty Dog now. It will be MCU Phase 4 quality at best.

Sounds like it to me.

Almost like a more in depth Left 4 Dead styled chapters? Perhaps? Maybe?

I lost faith in the guy when he tweeted his love for the Star Wars sequels. He needs to quit writing. Just like how Dan Houser needs to quit writing games too. Both are ruining good franchises with their garbage story writing.

I had emotions too with TRoS,

Druckmann is a super game director, I wish he would just stop trying to live out his film director dream and embrace his medium. Make great video games as you do, but stop trying to make your games to gain the recognition of Hollywood. You medium is superior in scope, embrace that.
I can't blame the guy. Sony does have a movie studio. I honestly believe this was one of the main reasons Kojima aligned himself with Sony. Maybe both want to eventually make movies.

They don't use the word "fun," there, so it stands to reason they will threaten you with some.

What's the matter, you don't like FUN?

Yeah after reading his comment I'm gonna say he's just talking about upping their story telling and not episodic content, which sounds good to me
