I didnt know what to put on it, I went with a puzzle fighter version of hakumen from blazblue (I used the ryu puzzle fighter art for a face ref) it came out ok. The idea is me as hakumen lol. Im leaning towards Extended TE plexi with orange buttons and bubble top.

I'm planning on modding it with Seimitsu clear PS-14-KN buttons and for the stick I'm just going to add a GT-Y octagonal restrictor plate, replace the Hori microswitches with HAPP Cherry ones, and change the balltop to a clear one.
TE, if only for the Seimitsu-compatible stick mounting bracket.momolicious said:what is easier to mod/swap? SF4 TE or HRAP3
It's only compatible with an LS-32. If you wanted to throw in an LS-56 like me, you have to bust out a drill and go for broke._dementia said:TE, if only for the Seimitsu-compatible stick mounting bracket.
Spirit of Jazz said:This isn't directly to do with my stick but the tip of my 360 headset's pin just snapped off in the adaptor when I was attempting to sort out an echo. I've sent a mail to support to see if I'd be able to get a replacement but does anybody know of a way I could get the small piece of the pin out of the port so I could use a new headset? It kind of sucks that I'm unable to chat whilst playing fighters, with they made it so the headset just snapped in like with the hori's.
Any particular reason? Is it because of BC on PS3? Is it easier to mod an old PS2 stick into a PS3 one? Or is it for no good reason? Just curious._dementia said:PS3 has more or less become the tournament standard in the United States

As mentioned above, ease of PS2 stick use and reliabilty are big factors.conman said:Any particular reason? Is it because of BC on PS3? Is it easier to mod an old PS2 stick into a PS3 one? Or is it for no good reason? Just curious.

Additionally, Sony also donated PS3s to EVO AFAIK; at least they sponsored the event.
Chorazin said:In the adaptor, not in the actual stick? You can get a male-female 2.5mm cable at any radioshack that should do the trick.

I'd consider this if it were to happen.
Did they install the game to the HD prior?PhatSaqs said:Sad thing the PS3s at EVO were suffering from lag spikes and overall sluggishness. Some say it was due to the retarded random "You Did Not Earn a Trophy" message pop ups.
Coming from billions of hours of play on the 360 tho, I noticed a difference immediately and there was definitely an adjustment period.

I dont think so. Coming in cold and not having warmed up to it it definitely would have I think. I did get a EX Soul Throw instead of an Ultra that pretty much cost me my winners match in the semis but I do that at home too so... :lolAskia47 said:Did it effect your own results? If it did thats unfortunate.

UnholySpectacle said:Ok, folks here is my issue: The general membership at Otakon seems to love nothing but Japanese style joysticks. I already have 4 wood joysticks with Happ parts, but I would like to replace the "bat" sticks with the Japanese "gumball." Of course the mounting bolts for the Happ style are already on the stick. Are there any Sanwa or Seimitsu sticks that have universal mounting plates? Or is there a place where I can buy a ball top shaft that fits in a Happ stick?

Square gate, standard, baby! Go play SF4 in the arcade, same story (unless you find a custom cabinet). You can get the octagonal gate (Sanwa GT-Y) if you think it'll make you perform better.VALKYRAY said:question about street fighter 4 sticks:
for the joystick, does it move in full circle motion or does it move in square motion or does it move in octagon motion?
I have a tekken 5 stick, and i used to own a hori fighting stick EX2, both joysticks move in square motion, not circle. really hard for 2d fighting games.

I'm having a hard time taking off the buttons. Every wire is unplug
Edit- TE stick and its my first time doing this.
viewtiful_dru said:Question for Yes Boss!: Just how many sticks do you own? You have to be the runner up to MM for most sticks owned ever.
Yes Boss! said:No-brainer.
TE Stick
(unless you've got some aversion to SF and instead love Tekken)
MikeE21286 said:yeah, I have no deep-seated affection towards tekken. So the parts inside the TE stick trump the fact that the Tekken stick is wireless (although I guess now that I think about it....wireless doesn't really matter that much in an arcade stick)
Yes Boss! said:There is no denying that that Tekken bundle is sweet (new Hori mold, wireless) but who knows what is inside it yet. TE is where it is at right now unless you can wait till October and get one of the high-end HRAP SA/SEs, which saves a small bit of money and you won't have to deal with the SF branding...but the branding on the current TE is very low-key and elegant anyways. By October there should be even more product from Mad Catz to choose from, methinks. Lots of options.
