Someone mentioned up thread that they were planning to pick up an LS-32-01 from GamingNow - they're in stock now, so grab 'em before they run out again.

Ordering one for myself. What the hell, you can never have too many spare parts. :lol
Thanks for the heads up, I went ahead and ordered one! Now my Femme Fatale TE stick will be a full conversion to Seimitsu parts. Sadly I'll probably get the buttons and bubble top on Friday or Sat but won't get the stick till Monday or Tuesday!

Just got my Tatsunoko Vs Capcom stick and after using my TE-S stick for 2 months, it just feels weird.

Before I pull the trigger from lizardlick the only parts I need are the OBSF-30 buttons and the JLF-TP-8YT-SK joystick right?

Does the ball on the current stick work on that joystick?

Haven't done this before so I guess now is the best time to try.

Quick question for some fight stick pros.

My buddy wants to get an octo gate. He has a SE stick, but I have a TE stick. What kind of octo gate does he need? Is it the same one that I put in my TE ? I got it from Gamingnow.net for about 5 bucks and it has gold/orange in the center.(Forgot exact JLetc notation)

Thanks for an answer. :)

Yep, that's it. The same one you ordered for your TE (JLF-GT-Y) will work for the SE, though apparently it'll require quite a bit more elbow grease to pull the gate off of the stock MadCatz stick.

Yep, those are the correct parts, since you'll just be using the wiring harness already in the stick. The ball from the MadCatz stick will fit on the JLF.

Just installed my new Seimitsu buttons in my Femme Fatale TE stick! It was so simple! Can't wait to get my Seimitsu stick in the mail Sat or Mon so I can throw it in as well.

My awesome girl friend used her epic art skills to draw some more arcade stick art for my 360 madcatz stick.

I am planning on putting yellow buttons and ball top on it when I get it printed out. Hopefully more pictures to come.

here it is with the button silhouette

Got my Seimitsu parts from GamingNow today and dropped 'em into a TE.

Definitely took me a lot more force to push in the PS-14-Gs than KNs or OBSNs... so I don't think those buttons are going anywhere anytime soon. :lol

Until MadCatz releases a TE-SE, this'll have to do for now. :P

Oh? The reason why it feels weird (different) is because the parts aren't supposed to feel like the Sanwa parts you're used to. I engineered/designed them to be a hybrid/different feeling from the norm. If you mess with the stick spring/tension you can feel it's a bit tighter than Sanwa. Also the buttons are more like Seimitsu in terms of actuation.

Just my personal point of view.

UGH, I know how you feel pushing in those PS-14-Gs. hahah...

I ordered the LS-32-01, 8 GNs, and a pink bubbletop, and they're en route, can't wait to slap them into my TE and play some Raiden & Mushihimesama. I figure I'll save the Sanwa parts and put them into a cheap SE whenever I can come across one.

The PS-14-P's were just as gnarly to force in my TE stick, the first six out from the stick I could do just pushing them in, but the last two I had to actually pound the fuckers in with my fist. :lol

Got them in though!

Sold my fightpad and USB Saturn pad in the B/S/T thread and IMMEDIATLY went to Gamingnow.net and ordered another LS-32-01, 8 Red/Black PS-14-G's, and a red bubble top to mod my OG PS3 TE stick.

Awwww yeah baby, full Seimitsu sticks in my house!

Repainted the CP on my Cute , had some wear from Japanese Arcade abuse , new Seimitsu sticks and Sanwa buttons finished the job and it looks mint again !

This makes me want to put in pushbuttons for my CPS as well...*drool*
@ url; is that the same undamned from the shmups.com forum?

That mod reminds me of an old Genesis arcade stick mod I saw with 24 mm pushbuttons replacing the standard rubber contact ones. It looked rad.

Finally got my Seimitsus in. I love their weight. It's such a huge improvement over the Sanwas.

TE stick + black plexi + Seimitsu buttons + octagonal gate = KoF2k2 can't come to XBLA soon enough.

All of you guys showing off sticks in the last couple of posts have some really nice looking mods. Kudos guys!

Playing Mushihimesama with a full Seimitsu setup is a completely fantastic gaming experience. You will have much fun! :D

Is there a thread on here or on shoruyken that just has images of people's arcade sticks? I'm looking for ideas for the graphic and I want some inspiration. Thanks :)

Ok, so I just got a TE this past week and only opened it/closed it once and the top screws are already stripped... what is the easiest way to get those bad boys out?

Ya I searched those. I was just wondering if there are any timing/buggy issues. Or is it 100%.
as far as I can tell, no. If there is any when used on the PS3, it must be pretty insignificant. I have heard that it doesn't have any lag when used on a PC. I don't personally notice any drop inputs in SSF4 aside from myself screwing up too.

I personally bought another TvC stick and 2 Classic Controller Pros, I'm gonna check if 2 TvC sticks work at the same time on a PS3 with the adapter (works fine on PC so far), as well as the CCPros.

That would be good to know too.

Wow, you stripped them? Mine came out super easy on both of my TE sticks, using the proper sized HEX bit included in the Madcatz TE keychain.

My two Ex2s are fucked.

One of my arcade sticks no longer detects the down position
The other apparently needs a change of wire because it sometimes stop being detected by my PC and 360.

Is the USB cable on an SE replacable? The top of mine is starting to come apart...

Might just pick up a HRAP EX and transplant the parts over, but this is my travel stick and the SE still seems to be the best option as far as that goes.

that's a shame
one of my EX2 stopped registering button presses after a while
fighting stick ex2s are shoddy, avoid them!

How good are SEs. I just want something durable that will last ages?

Then spend your money on a TE stick. I get salty when I loose in games, so my OG PS3 TE stick has been slapped, punched, dropped, and (I am ashamed to admit) thrown across the room.

Still works as perfectly as the day I got it!

So I want to level up my ghettostick by putting in some 24mm buttons. Unless there is any structural difference between the Sanwa and Seimitsu 24mm buttons that prevent me from putting them in (24mm Sanwas are already a tight fit) I will be going with the Seimitsus. Too bad they only come in black though.

i have a TE for my xbox should i mod this one ?
thanks

The TvC is the best stick out for the Wii, hands down.

I'm not even sure how you'd mod your TE stick to work with the Wii. I guess a MC Cthulhu PCB will work with Gamecube, but do the games you'd want to play with it support GC controllers?

thanks i will go for the stick then it is only about 40 euro
it is manly wii games i want to play

It's a Hori FS3. I've heard the Seimitsu screw-ins fit in easily, but do screw-ins loosen up easier/faster when used with a metal face plate?
