donkey show said:Woot. So I finally got the time to install my Seimitsu LS-56 stick into my Amazon HRAP3.

It was a pretty easy install without having to make any mods to the mounting at all. All I'm doing now is waiting for the octogonal gate from Akiharabarashop to come in so I can fully beast this bad boy. I just can't play SF at a high level with a square gate for some reason, although I feel just as competent with the Seimitsu stick w/o the 8-way just as much as I did my Sanwa JLF ultimate mod 8-way.
And the done deal! An Amazon HRAP3 SE! :lol

I fucking love it! Hopefully the LS-56 will pop in just as well in a TE stick since I have another one on order.![]()

I think the last HRAPs to take an LS32 were the HRAP2s. The HRAP3 mounting plate doesn't facilitate an LS-32 unless you were to drill into the plate itself. As for an LS-56, it fits perfectly like the pic I posted earlier with my Amazon HRAP3.so whats the dillema? HRAPs take LS32's right?
Thanks man. I would have done the same when my other sticks get in, but I really prefer the feel of Seimitsu parts over Sanwa. Don't get me wrong as they are very awesome, but I'm really finicky about my controls.Guymelef said:Great mod.
If my SFIV TE stick preorder works I'll do the same and have 2 sticks one full Seimitsu and other full Sanwa.

I don't know if the TEs take an LS-32 though. That's something hopefully Markman can answer soon.

The FightStick TE is aesthetically inspired by Taito's Viewlix cabinet
It's JLF-TP-8Y-SK-W.Sanwa, including the stick itself (model JFL-TP-8Y-SJ-W)

for 360 i assume?Ecto311 said:Where are you getting your materials for the build? I just ordered sanwa buttons and a stick and now looking for the building supplies.
Edit: I also need to start looking for a pad to hack for this build. I want to stay wired and want a reasonably easy one to hack. I know there are some mad katz controllers that work well but since SRK is down till Monday if anyone here has some recommendations let me know. Thanks.
I picked up the oak and lexan up at a local Home Depot. Total was about $10. I don't have a base yet though.Ecto311 said:Where are you getting your materials for the build? I just ordered sanwa buttons and a stick and now looking for the building supplies.

I would also think MadCatz would want to sell more PS3 sticks and thus manufacture more...Akim said:How is it that Best Buy has had the preorder up for the sticks on 360 for days and they aren't being backordered but the PS3's was backordered instantly. I would thin the 360 version would be more popular.

Has anyone ordered from videogamecentral.com before?
yeah, don't they charge your card immediately?Judderman said:I've never ordered from them before, and I was going to order the 360 TE stick from them but I thought "every other store is sold out with this thing, how is this place still taking orders?" I did some research on their practices and reviews and decided not to. They seem pretty shady with this whole stick situation so just be cautious with them.

I ordered November 26th, 2008 and my shipping date is February 25th.Mr Jared said:For those who pre-ordered the TE stick from Amazon, what is your estimated delivery date?
I ordered on January 5, my estimated delivery date (2-day) is February 25. I really hope I don't have to wait a week![]()
dfyb said:dude my tekken stick has this 'zomg dual layout' as well. it never gets used. i prefer the angled layout, but i prefer the straight layout's distance from the stick. if i play on my tekken stick, i use the outside layout... just like everyone else who's used my tekken stick (plus it's too much of a hassle to change control layout when you're playing casuals passing the sticks around all the time). when i built my stick, i made it exactly how i like

edit: well i guess the tekken isn't a true straight layout, but it's close enough
