NICE!

I took this shot containing my HRAP EX "High Grade" recently and I liked it.

Yeah, I loved the look of yours and was saving my buttons for my forthcoming EX but broke down and converted my old HRAP 3.

I just ordered buttons to covert my EX to all white to mimic my HRAP SA. Gonna look sweet with the shiny surface and all white.

I've also got a HRAP 3 SF IV edition coming and I'm gonna mimic MarkMan's Tournament edition with white and two black on the end.

Can't believe how crappy the Hori stock buttons are.

I'm not sure why anyone would bother. X-Arcades are horrible.

You can swap for a bat top. The part is Sanwa LB-30-N but I think you'll need an adapter because they're meant for the thicker-shafted JLW sticks.

My X-Arcade has treated me just fine, way better than Hori EX2. Thanks for tip on the part though.

Will the PS3 SF sticks work on the PC too?
The PS3 sticks will work better than the 360 sticks simply because they're standard USB sticks - they'll work right out of the box. Microsoft developed a proprietary protocol for the 360 controllers so you need a special driver to be able to use them. This is fine if you're running Windows since that driver is available, but it might be a problem if you're on Linux or OS X.

Let me clarify. X-Arcade is serviceable, especially compared to the shittacular Hori Fighting Stick EX2. However, the price to performance ratio on X-Arcades is terrible. Paying a premium for knockoff Bao-Lian parts does not make sense.

Or Windows XP Media Center Edition which is incompatible with the XBCD drivers.

Dunno about Linux, but OSX drivers are easy to find and free.

Ok, then I guess it'll work under Linux as well. Still, it's an extra step and not as convenient as simply plugging in the controller.

Cool. on gamestop they said the 10th? is that right ;o I thought i heard it was during the same week as the SFIV release date.

hmm, that's interesting. amazon has it listed for Feb 20 release date. i thought they were the same before. maybe one of the sites changed the date. i guess GS is gonna ship them earlier now.

I could probably figure this out by looking around but I'm incredibly lazy and you nice folks will probably help me out despite that. Looking at picking up the 360 standard sfiv fightstick.. could pick up from either ebgames or Amazon.. would rather go through Amazon, but they're saying release date is february 20th, while ebgames says it ships on the 10th.. a ten day difference is probably worth going through gamestop, unless one or both of them have things wrong. What's the release date supposed to be?

edit: wow I clearly don't read shit. not even the page I posted this on.

gamestop is usually more accurate. amazon tends to ship stuff out a lil bit later for games and movies from my experience.

Does best buy charge you for preorders when you make the order or when it ships? I may need to cancel if I can get it faster elsewhere. :D

Woot. So I finally got the time to install my Seimitsu LS-56 stick into my Amazon HRAP3.

amazonhrap3se01.jpg

It was a pretty easy install without having to make any mods to the mounting at all. All I'm doing now is waiting for the octogonal gate from Akiharabarashop to come in so I can fully beast this bad boy. I just can't play SF at a high level with a square gate for some reason, although I feel just as competent with the Seimitsu stick w/o the 8-way just as much as I did my Sanwa JLF ultimate mod 8-way.

And the done deal! An Amazon HRAP3 SE! :lol

I fucking love it! Hopefully the LS-56 will pop in just as well in a TE stick since I have another one on order. :D

Also, the connection to the pci board went out on my X-arcade, and they sent me a new pci board no questions asked. I must say though, you are right about the price, especially since you have to get an adapter if you want to play on consoles. I also noticed a bit of lag sometimes, but maybe that is just me.

ARCADE SHOCK has gotten their HRAP EX's in!!!! At least, according to the website.

Can someone PLEASE let me know when their account gets charged or when they hear anything about shipping... (mine was ordered for me, so I'm not going to know)

Thanks! :D

How long does it usually take you guys to receive arcade parts from Lizardlick? I want to order my parts of my TE stick but I want the sticks and the parts to come around the same time so I don't have just parts to stare at.

I think it would be a good idea to get the parts early. I think closer to sf4 release part will be flying off of lizardlick.com. Just get the parts now and put them up.

Lizard Lick is real fast. I got my stuff in just a few days. They are also rather friendly if you have to call or email, they are a pleasure to deal with.

(And yes, I have been staring at the button and balltop for months) :D

If that's the case I guess I'll have no choice. :lol

Edit: Looks like they ran out of white bat tops. I'll just wait a week because I really wanted the white bat top.

Amazon has been selling it for this price for a long time.

Is it worth paying the extra $20 and getting the HRAP3 over the SE FightStick?

I haven't used an arcade stick for a fighter since Street Fighter II, when arcades were huge. Gonna be trying to learn how to use them again with SFIIHD and SFIV.

It depends on your preference of size.

If you like bigger sticks, then definitely go with the HRAP3.

If you like smaller/more compact go with the FSSE (FightStick Standard Edition).

fuckkk i knew i should have ordered that white bat top already :lol

quick question: we know the TE has a 5 pin connector for the stick... does this mean i need to purchase a Seimitsu LS-32-01 as the description says :

"PCB-mounted switches Includes ... 5-pin wiring harness."

whereas the LS-32 does not include that language in the description.

thanks guys

What do you guys think about this

yay or nay? (for an utter noob like me)

(sorry if it's been mentioned earlier)

already posted like three times in here for people who can't get the TE stick, or don't want a case made out of plastic..... to buy a norris case and put it together themselves. Takes like a half hour, and if you can use a screwdriver you can do it.

They are restocking on the 8th, and if you are interested start f5ing their site 10 or 15 minutes before the cases are supposed to go up. They sold out in three minutes last week.

Wow, their last restock was 13 cases?! I'll have a better chance at winning the fucking lottery on the 8th than getting one of those. :o

just have your account set up and start refreshing the page a little early. Was lucky enough to snag mine on my first try...would have been pissed if I didn't get it.

Try emailing them I bet they would ship to Europe.
