You're probably going to get backordered. A lot of us were fooled by B&N. :(
 
I got a HRAP3 Amazon Edition (Non sanwa), i want to upgrade buttons to sanwa, but i saw a vid with translucent buttons and when he pushes the button they light up blue, which looked really cool imo.

can you do this with sanwa buttons too? i only saw Seimitsu translucent buttons, and also i saw no leds on lizardlick, any guides? thx

Just got an e-mail that says they expect to ship it out on the 16th now. wtf

Hope it goes out sometime this month, as I'm moving out of state next month. =/

Sanwa has no translucent buttons, so you can't get the same effect. As for the LEDs, well, basically, you have to find your own LEDs and solder them onto the PCB. And do a bunch of other stuff because apparently there is enough power to power the LEDs :lol

I ordered my stick from B&N like on 7th of January, and it arrived yesterday. It was the wrong one (ordered a 360 one instead of the PS3 one I got) the GameStop customer service agent I talked to said that they're not taking new orders but they have a few for cases like this so my stick should be shipping soon.

I'm guessing that anyone who's ordering a stick now is going to get backordered.

All they got in Amazon.ca is the EX2's for the 360... :(

Any other suggestions for locations in Canada to get sticks.
 
OK, I got a preorder for the CE game in store at BestBuy, but now I need a Ken fightPad for PS3. My local BestBuy had 360 pads, but none for PS3. Is anyone having luck finding any pads in their local stores?
 
Since I don't feel like waiting for the PS3 SFIV TE Stick to ship from capcom [Backorder] What's the next best thing in terms of quality and ease of modability?

Same here. Ordered on Wednesday and got the back-ordered email early this morning. I called and canceled the order. I couldn't hold out any longer for a stick so I decided to order the HRAP EX from amazon instead since they had them in stock. Should be delivered on Monday. Looking forward to it.

Seems to be the HRAP EX on 360 and HRAP3 on PS3.

Well it's been like that since I pre-ordered, they haven't said anything about it too me. I'm not holding my breath on it.

I'm only worried in that there has been no communication with Amazon on the issue. People that have contacted CS just get the notice that the sticks ship on the ship date. So that leads the rest of us that were able to pre-order while they were still available, that the orders placed will be filled. But I've been burned on Amazon pre-orders before :/
 
Hey guys. I ordered the Regular Stick from Barnes and Nobel, and then I got an email saying It was delayed. So I called gamestop and asked to cancel it. It seems they said I was one of the lucky ones and I am getting it shipped this Monday :D

There are people who want to buy one and actually use it for the price that it is listed at, who can't because people are whoring them to resell. That's the problem.

To be fair, then those people should have preordered them sometime during the months (yes, months) they were available.
 
I got my Tournament edition stick yesterday. I can't do dragon punch with it. I'm used to playing with an octagonal gate. I think I like my other stick more though.

To be fair, a lot of people didn't even know about these things until recently, and even if they did, Mad Catz hasn't exactly been a name you always pay attention to.

But you really don't have that luxury, especially if you want to resort to personal attacks because someone bought a novelty item, A TOY, and is doing what is well within their rights to do with it. I will reiterate that you're upset about not being able to get A TOY.

There's no "honestly appreciating" it. It's a luxury item, a toy, a novelty. The end. You either preordered and got one or for whatever reason you were late and you didn't. It happens all the time. Suck it up and move on. There are other avenues if you want it a stick. If you just want something rare and cool because all the other kids have it, well then I guess you're SOL.
 
To those who had a TE stick pre order from Game Crazy may not get the TE day one, but they get a free wall scroll
Last night we received a Game Crazy memo from an anonymous source. According to the memo, the retailer is expecting pre-order shortages due to a “channel wide issue.” It goes on to explain that pads will “trickle in over the next 6 weeks to fill all preorders.” Those who don’t get their stuff on the first day will get a lovely parting gift: a SFIV wall scroll which Mad Catz has already packed in the initial shipments.

We verified the delays with several stores nationwide, but weren’t able to ascertain how “wicked cool” the wall scrolls are. Most of the Game Crazys we called have their initial shipment of controllers in, but they won’t be able to sell them before launch.

Also, it looks like the second wave of the TE sticks are coming in the first week of march and the third and last wave on the last week of march

New info for people who pre-ordered the sticks on the capcom store. He says they are getting more in a couple of weeks, but doesn't clarify if it's the tournament sticks, and if he will get enough to fill all orders.

Yeah, I spoke to Darin about it last night and he in turn asked Snow to post that little update.

So the trick to try and get goods to people the day that Gamestop does, is to back date the actual ship date in the system, which unfortunately, will trigger a backorder condition (intentionally). What Darin's been working with our shop partner on is keeping that part transparent to the end user (so you don't get a backorder warning) and that's the part that's not working properly yet.

Apologies for the confusion guys, but you're all getting your orders which is the good news.

Sticks however are another story. I know for a fact we have FAR more orders than we have sticks. Mad Catz will be getting us more in the next couple weeks and we hope to have all outstanding orders met. We appreciate your patience as the situation is pretty much the same with every retailer on those items.

I was going to cancel my order with capcom but I might wait it out. I just don't like the way the HRAP looks, and ordering buttons + swapping is a hassle.
 
if any of you guys live in the bay area. San Jose Fry's Electronics has a lot of fight sticks left. Pretty sure its like that at all fry's around the area.

Neither did until I changed teh buttons :lol

Honestly, I think the default button color scheme makes the rest of the stick look hideous and uglier than it really is.

Trying googling up some modded HRAPs and see if those look better to you.

Well let's shift it off TE exclusivity crying for a bit, shall we?

Today my Cthulhu board from Toodles came in the mail. I did a direct trade with him on SRK forums. He did a more than fair trade, and made it as easy as possible. Gonna solder it up this weekend or maybe next.

When is Shin finishing up those TE video guides?
