Yeah it is but it's expedited and the cheapest shipping option was like 20 dollars or something like that. I still think it was a worthy deal. That's kinda high for shipping charge, even on a stick. Hell, EMS from Japan is only like $50

They cancelled my order saying they wouldn't ship to my region even though It allowed me to select the address and it does show he ships to canada.
In the pics you show the cord having a breakaway at the end. I assume that's just on 360?![]()
It's about a pound lighter than old HRAPs and TEs are slightly heavier than those. The difference actually is felt more in moving the lever rather than moving the whole casing.Sounds about the same, I also can't tell that it's apparently supposed to be lighter than other sticks.
I am just appreciative that you had came across that deal, I ended up ordering a Madcatz MVC3TE stick anyway so no big dealahhh damn, sorry dude.

This is a valid argument. But as someone who personally never uses the seventh and eighth buttons, I can't see myself pressing the start button by accident.
So pretty. Can't for it to come home^Read about what MarkMan speaks of on SRK and it's part of the reason I won't buy one. On another note, I can't wait for the Soul Calibur Hori to be my first stick of 2012.
Does mad catz make a stick that is always in production? It seems like all of the stick have shorter production runs than say - the HRAP V3 SA.
I guess another way to ask - is mad catz going to make a more generic TE that has a longer production run?
Both problems are not without recourse, though. Also another gripe I have is with the artwork peeling off after excessive use or fading.
Just a precaution: Lizard Lick has been a bit shady lately. Friend ordered a board over a month and a half ago, and it's still back-ordered. They stopped answering his emails once he asked for a refund / cancel.

Focus Attack is definitely my place for ordering Japanese parts. My only problem is that I currently have two American styled arcade cases and want to fill with IL and Happ parts. I'm so bummed, because I do want to hold out on cancelling my order at Lizard Lick, but it's been a long time.
Okay, with SCV about to hit I think I'm ready to ask for some advice on sticks again.
Right now I'm rocking a Hori FS3 for my PS3 and I think I'm ready to upgrade to one of the higher quality sticks.
Firstly: Is there any reason to get or not get a Real Arcade Pro, like this one?
Second: If I get a Tournament Edition, should I go ahead and get the MLG Stick or wait for the SCV-branded one? Are there any real differences between them? How are they better than the HRAPs?
Third: What's a good stick for the SNES?
The best weapon's based fighter needs a good weapon. The Mad Catz Inc. SCV FightStick is shipping NOW! - http://www.madcatz.com/soulcalibur/
Thanks, I guess I'll have to finally cancel my order. I kinda feel bad about it, since I've order from them so many times.
So all of a sudden the buttons on my Madcatz TE stick are really sticky. It feels like something was spilled on them even though I haven't touched the stick for a while. Is there a good guide anywhere to cleaning buttons?
is it easy as the other TE to replace the artwork? also does anybody know where to find a hrap3 SE for 360? tried ebay and amazon but they didnt have it![]()
1. Great stick. I have one and love it.
2. Both have the same exact arcade parts as the HRAP V3-SE. Heavier base and longer cable though. Only advantage of getting the SC branded one would be button layout and config working with SC by default. No messing with option menus to reconfig in-game while playing SC.

I have all those sticks in there![]()
Pay particular attention to the sides of the plunger (top) and the inside of the rim (right).
Actuate the microswitch(left) and make sure there's no stickiness or non-linear resistance and reassemble.
I notice Hori sticks often have a suffix like SA for Sanwa or SE for Seimitsu...but what about if there is no suffix? Does that mean it is using some other type of parts? For instance the "Hori Real Arcade Pro EX" for Xbox 360. How to know what parts it uses if the vendor doesn't specify?
You read the product description on Hori's site to be certain. No SA prefix doesn't necessarily mean the buttons aren't Sanwa (all sticks with Siemitsu parts say SE).
Typically it means they have a Sanwa stick but shitty Hori clone buttons. That is the case with the PS2 HRAPs, Non-V3 PS3 HRAPs, and the HRAP EX you mentioned.
Thanks. I'm looking to get a stick for the 360 to play shmups on, and I've been reading how Seimitsu are great for shmups. Cheapest option I've seen so far is the Real Arcade Pro EX SE which Arcade Shock has for $170.
HRAP EX-SE is a great controller for shooters. It's my 2nd-favorite retail stick of all time, but I'm surprised it's selling for that much. Amazon had it as low as $80 at one time. I guess now it's all about supply and demand as they're not in stock anywhere else.
