God that guy's fonts were terrible. i would be ok if he at least used the fonts provided here, but i tried all 7 fonts and none of them matched his weird ones. that somehow makes it even worse because hes typing somewhere else and pasting it here lol

I'm guessing the font is hard on the eyes if you don't use dark theme? But for me blue against black looks fine.

For me neutrality isn't virtuous but conducting yourself like an adult and being open about your personal biases is an important hallmark of a good poster. The feigned neutrality some people participate in rarely fools anyone especially when your conduct is researchable across your history on the forum.

You don't have to copy&paste, he used BB codes to force the font. The font he used was Gabriola. BB code is FONT=Gabriola.
This stuff works with Chrome and prolly Firefox and as long as you have the font installed, you see it the way he intended it to be seen. However... this is what it looks like when you use a browser that doesn't support random fonts in Forums.
The size makes it hard to ignore. lol

This is the first generation since I was a child I didn't own every console (still no Switch, but I had WiiIU, not my fault Nintendo cheated and did two consoles in a generation!) but every generation I had a favorite. And that favorite manifested in bias where I talked about such things, it was unavoidable. This used to be an anti-Sony bias, the first half of the PS3's existence I found 360 to be the clearly superior option (and Wii was laughable to me but at least I got a new Metroid out of it), the generation before that my PS2 gathered dust and even when it wasn't collecting dust I didn't find the games as impressive as XBOX or Gamecube games. Before that I was PC and N64 all the way, playing PSX over friends houses always left a sour taste in my mouth, hah. We'd play Twisted Metal and I'd be like "yeah, this doesn't touch Mario Kart." I like to think I'm unbiased when it comes to the platform the games play on because I've switched so many times and the switches are always based on the games I actually want to play.
The bias, in my view, is towards the games and not the hardware. However that doesn't equate to a neutral position, usually before a new generation launches I lean towards whichever platform was most impressive to me the last generation and for the past 7 years it's been PC/PS4 so I'm not neutral, I want the PS5 more than a Series X. It just doesn't mean that 10 years from now I'll look back and say PS5 was better, imagine if Series X has another streak like they had on 360 where it was Condemned Criminal Origins, Oblivion, Halo 3, Crackdown, Dead Rising, BioShock, Mass Effect and more I'm forgetting... you can say most were only timed exclusives but holy shit at the time I was in gaming heaven. It didn't matter to me PS3 eventually got a worse version of BioShock and I won't be judging this generation based on what's also on PC because to be honest... not sure I'm going to have the cash to play games at anywhere near console level on PC.
I'm ranting but the main point is I've known the Nintendrone life, I've known the Xbot life, I've known the Sony Pony life and I've known the PC Master Race life. I'm still anything but neutral and I'm certainly not unbiased but if you're honest enough with people about where you come from I figure you have to get more respect, but if people know you and what you care about it becomes harder to troll, and that's not my goal, the people who hide their feelings/interests/biases sometimes just want to concern troll more effectively or outright troll better. Some of the people I've had the biggest arguments with I actually admire their output, people like

are great posters I'm often entertained by the output from. How couldn't I feel that way when I've been both of them to some extent at different points in my life? Empathy is often a missing factor in these debates/discussions, I may think PS5 is the obvious choice for me because of the exclusive games but I can't empathize with someone wanting to play Cyberpunk 2077 at the best possible quality? I can't empathize with someone viewing the deal that is Gamepass as a value not worth ignoring? I can't empathize with someone who'd rather play the new Halo than the Ratchet and Clank? Of course I can, I've bought 2 consoles for Halo games and absolutely ZERO for Ratchet and Clank games, I've certainly never beaten one of those games! All Halo Infinite needs to do is come out of its delay looking next-gen and I'll be sitting here like "okay, now I might need a Series X because my aging PC ain't handling this". It makes me think of politics to be honest. I know people who no matter the argument I present could never support my side of the political spectrum and it's because it boils down to specific issues that they will always vote based on. The relative strength of their current candidate doesn't really matter, just like the relative strength of the new console, in other words... I'm voting Trump because he's offering me Horizon Forbidden West (no hate implied by this analogy, I don't mean to say Series X is Joe Biden, especially considering his clear cognitive decline, he does NOT have the hardware a Series X has) if only the Libertarian Party could get me a Metroid Prime 4, though.

Sure, that’s assuming pretending to be neutral is actually an issue and honestly if it is a problem it would still be prefer over console warring BS.
Posters can love their platform without shaming others who prefer another platform, posters can also love multiple platforms.
Just because you love Xbox, PlayStation or Switch doesn’t mean you can’t love the other two platforms.

When you get controversial or aggressive with your positions, you can expect a level of flak in return. We’re not going to police every instance of it. You report and complain to mods far too much about petty grievances.
Take it in stride and you’ll end up with less of it overall. Pick your battles and we’ll be more likely to listen.

I am happy with the midd level visuals and still have fun.
If a game is good its a good game even at 1080p 30fps.
My experience is just as good as a hardcore gamers with a 2k pc.
And this is why i just cant stand vfx comments who always tells us 2080ti is where its at the rest is shit.
Same goes for xbox fans who always are about the 12 tf and their game will be better cuz of native 4k and 60 and you just watch for df videos etc.

Now with family we got a mommy van and i have a truck and i am fine with it cuz its about getting from point a to point b and practicality, storage etc.

There are other things more important in my life and gaming is really where i switch off at the end of the day.
And i dont need to spend thousand of dollars to do that.
If someone can only enjoy a game at the highest settings i really feel bad for them.

I’m definitely not neutral. This whole time, I’ve been wanting Microsoft to really bring it. Ask me how that’s going for me.
But, within that framework, I’ve given every console a chance to shine, offered criticism positive and negative, waited before pledging my purchase, respected other people’s choices, and tried to view this a special, awesome time for everyone, and the fun and discussion that can be derived from that.
I don’t think I’m special in any way for that, or that any of those are particularly hard to achieve. Those are rational, common sense things to do. It’s just that some posters want to shoot for rock bottom, then hand-wave their immaturity, ‘CONSOOOOOMING’, and bad behavior by pretending this is some natural human condition.
In reality, grown-ups have a preference, but they can have that preference and act sensible about it too. We just don’t seem to have a lot of those in society anymore. Grown-ups, I mean.
