It has been a very, very merry Christmas.

The book on the left is 'Bury my heart at wounded knee' - Assassin's Creed III has left me with an interest in American history.
The Hobbit was a GREAT Christmas present from my sister-in-law, who managed to know that I wouldn't want the cover with the new movie photo on it.
Not all of these are Christmas presents, Dragon Quest X was bought a few months ago but only turned up a few days before Christmas.
The Gamecube imports were bought from a friend and the 3DS pickups were from early December.

All in all, I'm surrounded by awesome games at the moment - Dragon Quest X vs. Assassin's Creed III vs. Monster Hunter Tri G HD vs. New Super Mario Bros. U.. Where do I start?!

Got it from here last month when they had pre-order special for $429.

Price is bumped up to $589 now and shows in-stock. Both the retail and bambaland are hard to find still and according to 3A they have an ultimate deadline of Chinese New Year to ship all pre-orders.

I do feel bad for the folks who pre-ordered this from Sideshow and most retail places in the US in early 2012 because I know most have not received their shipments.

I have not opened it yet.

I got some more too but didn't pull em out to take a photo.


Movies:

Some impulse cheap buys on stuff I've never seen before, like curious case. I heard that movie sucks but for like $4? Whatever. Also some classics I didn't have on blu-ray. All of it was super cheap on BF.
And one of my favorites finally on blu-ray...

Finally, some video games:

I rebought some games on black friday, got 999 and ME trilogy for xmas. I've played ME1&2 so I'm excited to go through the entire series and finally play three. I've got a lot on my plate!

I've also decided to collect some of my favorite gamecube games (only about 15) so I'm buying these one by one. I already bought Metroid Prime & Starfox adventures. Some of the games on my list are expensive

I hope so. Have GW2, but I rarely play. Lord knows how I'm going to balance school, my Steam backlog, my book backlog, Halo 4, LoL, SC2 and WoW, and hopefully a job soon (need a new part-time. Especially if I'm going to be getting time cards for WoW. Everything together came up to $40 with tax so I said "Why not? Even if I don't play much/ever now, I'll always have 'em! Good price too."). Was thinking about picking up the new 27" iMac, but after some thought upgradability won out against sexiness. Even though, after seen dat screen in person I instantly regretted it!

I'll mainly be using it for gaming and editing so I had to go all out on the parts.

Yea, the fan was actually blocking the memory modules, so I had to put it on the other side of the radiator. That fan pushes air in, while the fan on the inside pushes it out. It seems to work, but I may get a low profile fan at some point. I should have gone with the H80 :/

Because I went to GAME one day and traded in a load of stuff and wanted the PS3 Join or Die edition - some collector tat and bonus content, also PS3 version to link with my Vita version.

Then I got a WiiU and my Dad asked me what I wanted for Christmas - I figured AC3 off-TV would be ace, end of story.
