Done in around 45 minutes as part of a series of icons I'm working on.
Also on that previous post, I really love the guy with the tall head.

More figures done throughout the afternoon.

pencils, an hour
I've been using posemaniacs but I'm going to try moving away from it to pictures of life models.

These two can have nude models but there are options for clothed or "decent" as well if you have people around I guess.

That's excellent, thanks very much!
Haven't drawn anime style in a while so here is something. Trying to get myself to draw less static-y poses![]()
Medium: Photoshop CS6 with Bamboo.
Nah, not really. Most still life pieces take much, much longer than that, especially if it's color. I myself spend anywhere from 3-9 hours depending on the subject and complexity.Medium: Photoshop CS6 with Bamboo.
Time: 100 minutes (I feel like that's a long time for a piece like this, is it?)
Notes: Still life, I'm happy with it for the most part but I couldn't get the right colours so I cheated and used the eye dropper on my reference for the base red and the shadow((
Day 15, ~20mins.

I was wondering where you both got the models from? Is this life drawing or is there some online resource, or something you pay for, or is it just random photos or the deviantart site linked a while back (it appears you need to be a member so I haven't checked it out yet). I'd really like to get back into drawing but I've tried googling and can't find anything decent for free.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
Day 16, ~1hr.
Medium: Pencil and paper.
day 37, didn't have much time, will work on more tomorrow
If you need any more, check out these on Proko.com, I like them a lot and they're not very expensive considering the quality and the amount of poses you get.
I downloaded them from the net a long time ago, but unfortunately I don't have the urls anymore, sorry.
There are some good suggestions on this page though!
Day 17, ~30min.

I know I haven't exactly been keeping up with posting, but I have been keeping an eye on this thread and some of the progress in here is just awesome to see in general.
I finally finished something in the span of a day that hasn't made me want to cut my hands off/gauge my eyes out.

It isn't anything special by any means but its the first thing I haven't deleted or torn to shreds for a few days now.
Tools: Moleskine sketchbook, Parker .05mm HB mech pencil
Time: About 3 hours in the span of 5 (I'm pretty sure 2 of those hours were me laying around hating life in general)
Notes: I should be a bit more forgiving to myself from time to time....maybe.
Im guessing arts & farts is dead.
