Again w/ first place not getting paid? And 2nd+3rd can't be that much over 1st, much like 3rd+4th can't be over 2nd. Gotta give 1st the big slice, it's that way in every League I've seen, even the Yahoo! Pro league do that. I say we implement my pay from last year.
1st gets 45% = $468
2nd gets 28.75% = $299
3rd gets 18.75% = $195
4th gets 7.5% = $78
If you don't like the weird numbers then:

3rd - 190
4th - 80

4 days until Draft and most of the settings aren't finalized... eh.
3-1 so far in terms of payout.

Why? The reason I suggested a 3rd WR was to devalue RBs, they're too powerful scoringwise. Using PPR and Flexing RBs just keeps the RB imbalance.

... bottom barrel? You can get productive WRs in the 12th round, I'm saying there is no bottom-feeding at all with that position. By spreading out as many as 4 good WRs you force more research on a deep position, which makes the position as important by volume, as opposed to the RB position.

Yeah let's get roster and scoring down. I'm not ready to draft in any of my leagues and I have three on Sunday at 6:15, 7 and 8 PM heh. This is my last night to prep though as I'll be at pax all weekend.
I made a few mistakes in the draft for the degenerate league here on gaf and I don't want to mess these ones up. I blame hempfest!

I'll pay before we draft, but I want to get these settings/payouts/scoring down. We never had this issue in previous years.

I've said 1st should get at least half. I proposed 47.5% as a compromise.

What do you think of this trade I proposed in my keeper league. The other party seems to really want Sproles. He hasn't approved it yet.
I get: B. Marshall and R. Matthews
I send
He gets: D. Sproles, V. Jackson, and Andre Brown.
I think it's pretty fair, but I want to do it for a couple of reasons. Brandon Marshall is better than V. Jackson and more consistent. He's a true WR1 while Jackson is close but isn't. Matthews seems equal if not a bit better than Sproles for fantasy purposes...PLUS...This is a keeper league..Sproles is 30, Matthews has been in the league 2 yrs, with this year being his third. Brown is just filler with some value to equal out the trade..He'll be back in a few weeks.
My team gets more powerful stars but I lose a bench guy in a few weeks.
Also...Should we make a thread just for fantasy trade discussion? Thanks for the feedback in advance.

Any updates to the settings and making sure we have a full league? Less than 48 hrs til the draft.
In one season? It must be nice not having to work for a living!
New to the league but wanted to chime in on the ppr and WR additions.
I like ppr but would suggest making it smaller like .25 only cause if .5 turns out to be dominant it would be too late to make a change.
As for another WR slot, is this another in addition to the current qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 wr/te slot?

This is a good idea since we haven't used it before in this league. More thoughts?
Yes, it'd be a 3rd WR in addition to the current settings. I was originally for it but I am totally against it now lol

In a 16 team league a 3rd WR and a flex just strikes me as overkill. We'd all be scraping the bottom of the barrel at that point. One or the other imo, not both.

With 4 spots on the bench it really isn't.
32 teams with 3 WRs arguably usable per = 96* Some teams have 4!
16 teams, 4 WRs = 64
If PPR gets voted on .25 is fairer. For significant pointage a guy would have to have 8 catches. Easier for a WR to reach that then a RB, though the same premise remains D'OH I CATCH FOOBALL GUYZ.
