Hopefully they won't be on the shelf for much longer but I don't think you'll have 'em back for Week 9.
Good game this week, btw. At least you didn't lose by leaving some high performing studs on your bench. We thankfully didn't have much of that in this league but in some smaller leagues some folks are kicking themselves for missing out on Big Ben's big day and losing as a result.
Since Yahoo decided it would be cute to have him go by his stupid nickname now that he's fantasy relevant.
Didn't they change it to Boobie because that is what the Bills now list him as?

A little late, but as a fan of the Buffalo Bills, I apologize on the behalf of the Buffalo Bills for those of you who drafted Sammy Watkins.
I am feeling your pain this week with bye week players. Luckily trades and waiver wire have helped. End one this year. Has anyone else made any besides me?

He's been practicing daily. Seems likelier for him to go than Bernard given what they've been doing.
Then again, it is the Jags. They may elect to hold both of 'em out and heal up for the Browns on Thursday.

Don't think you'll break that record, I'm afraid.
Ku Klux Klams finished Week 11 in 2011 with a whopping 22.84 fantasy points.
Surely Wright, Pierce and Carr can get you over that total at the very least, right?
(You really had no excuse for keeping Cameron in your lineup this week... he's been declared Out for a while now.)
I had no one on my bench who I could've replaced him with, and I didn't want to cut anyone, but who knows...the way this week has gone I hope I finish with more points than I currently have.
With 4 starters on bye I took this week as a L anyway, I just didn't expect it to be this bad.

It'll be close. Dwayne Allen's projection seems crazy low. Andre Williams' projection seems unrealistically high.

Pretty disappointing how this league has turned out. Most other fantasy leagues on Neogaf have twice as many posts in their respective threads. Also many owners never get back to me on the trade proposals and I have to end up cancelling them on Saturday night. I would think people would check their email more when so much money is on the line.
Yes this year has gone down quite a bit compared to others. We had a few of our last year more vocal players get banned before the season this year. Also, I have no clue if Cloudy got a permaban or not.
I try to pop in here and there. To be honest, I have been devoting my free fantasy time to the Daily Sports, playing on Draftkings. The amount of geek out you can do on there is pretty amazing if you love the spreadsheet thing.

Yeah, daily fantasy is mucho distracting and certainly pushes the right buttons in terms of immediate winfall for wise fantasy decisions instead of grinding towards the long-term pay day. I've had more success than is typical in Survival/Eliminator leagues this season so have been enjoying some nice winfalls from that.
As for No Quitters, the level of competition remains as noteworthy as ever. The absence of Frankman and the banning of Cloudy certainly hasn't help to keep things energized. I've dialed back my posting as well.
But with the trade deadline looming and I would argue only 3 teams that aren't proving to be all that competitive - and in Rinker's defense he's faced some really tough matchups - I think there's reason to be optimistic. I plan to send some trade feelers out next week in advance of the deadline and if I get some nibbles - great. If not, that's fine as well.
To be perfectly honest, I'll take a league like this one with diligent roster upkeep - which this league has for the most part - than a league with three times as many posts on GAF which sees a number of teams field starting lineups on Sunday comprised of bye week & inactive players. That shit really cheeses me off... even if it's an opponent I'm facing.

Yeah, that was literally the best possible scenario for you. Mega props on the balls to start the Browns D/ST on the road against two of Donjeezy's starters.
In fact, all of the 6-3 teams had rough starts to the week.
Also, I didn't realize maxing out trade offers was something that could happen.
I really didn't have much better choices at D. Was hoping that Dalton would have one of those shitty games that he has every now and then. And he did. Does anyone know PK Boosters GAF name he hasn't been responding to trades.

Dude is practically threadbare at RB considering his record. I'm doubting Khiry Robinson plays this week so he may well be taking a 0 in that slot unless he makes a late bid to grab someone else. Lots of byes plus lots of injuries/inactives and a depleted waiver wire don't make for much room to maneuver. Considering he hasn't moved Marshall into his starting lineup, he probably hasn't checked on his team in a while. So the absence of a prompt trade request followup is really no surprise. He's floating without an active defense for this week as well.

I feel the activity in the league itself is fine but you're starting to see why I want to broaden the prize pool past 4. It's just natural that some folks will just go though the motions (doing the bare minimum) if they feel they can't be in that group (injuries, suspensions etc.)
