Not a big fan of my recommendations, but out of those I'm very interested in Ys, Super Hexagon, Papo & Yo, Mark of the Ninja and Fez.

I dunno when I became an indie dude, but eh.

Hmm, I have quite a few of those actually, admittedly mainly through sales, and either didn't get far enough yet or didn't consider it worth listing (Max Payne 3, Witcher 2, and Dark Souls primarily, albeit the latter two for a very different reason than the first). Still, it's interesting to see!

I loved reading the voting thread. Amazing work from everyone who organized it, and all those who put effort into their comments.

One thing I'd like to suggest, if it isn't too much work, is to possibly break the voting into single-player and multiplayer categories. Games would be able to compete in both of course. I think this would be helpful in giving more recognition to the multiplayer modes of games with strong single-player components.

Persona 4 Golden is my number one recommendation lol. As someone who's never played a JRPG I don't think I can deal with both P4 and Ni No Kuni (which I already pre-ordered).

Yup, pretty disappointed to see that Xenoblade didn't place so high due to the staggered release schedule. Can't think of any other game that came close to it in 2012.

Also, ME3 charting so high is WTF. No way it should have taken RPG of the year in a year where Growlanser 4, P4G and Xenoblade came out.
