Furthermore, I'll be throwing up another update for 2016, just a simple table for each profile that will show the total of 2016 and compare to the total of 2015, to show who improved and/or had a worse year, etc...

On top of that, based on GAF inactivity (3 months or more) and/or PSN Profiles that averaged less than 100 points per month, I will be removing the following 29 Profiles from the list next month. I'll be looking to cross the 100 Platinum trophies at some point this year, still trying to decide what game it will be... Otherwise, looking to stay consistent with the amount of points I obtained in 2016.

I want to reach 150 Plats by the end of the year. I like making goals that I probably won't meet. I was supposed to reach 100 plats by the end of 2015, but life happened. Was gonna be it by the end of 2016, but life happened again. I'll reach 100 by the end of February, nothing to stop me this time. 5 a month will be enough for 150.

Platinum #84 Bioshock: The Collection - Bioshock Infinite

I forgot how good this game was. Picked up on a lot more story wise. I could write a whole page comparing Bioshock 1 and Infinite. All in all I think I liked Infinite better, after beating them nearly back to back. Trophy wise it was the easiest of the three. I despise respawing enemies. One trait of early gen that died good. That's the main reason I'm dreading Cod4 remastered, when I eventually get around to buying it.

juts wanted to say, I am definitely not doing this.

the Uncharted playtstationtrophies.com forum says the speedrun trophies are brutal, also there's an online trophy, for the DLC,

no way I am going to get through the work of getting the platinum only to see a bar awith a fucking 98% completion rate and I am definitely not paying a month of PSN just to get one trophy,

thanks for the suggestions anyway.

EDIT: Upon further research that one online trophy doesn't require a PSN suscription, ok that's better.

It's pretty lengthy. 24 hours or so. It took me 3 playthroughs, and a partial.

Yes, there are a few trophies like that, but nothing related to dying(use under 3 healing items, Opened no more than 3 item boxes, 4 hour speed run), but you unlock items on repeat playthroughs that make those trophies pretty easy. The easy difficulty with the extra items is nothing, even with the limitations above. The hardest difficulty is the worst. The bosses can be pretty bullshit, but it's not too bad.

It has been awhile since I've updated (no new thread?)

Platinum #58 - Dragon's Dogma
There was an influx of Dragon's Dogma threads on gaf a few months ago that convinced me to grab the game. I really enjoyed the combat and pretty much everything else about the first half of the game, but I wasn't a huge fan of the second half (or really the last fourth or so). I haven't dived into the DLC much yet, but I hear that's the best part of the game so I definitely will eventually.

Platinum #59 - Final Fantasy XV
Even though I would consider myself a big Final Fantasy fan, I never really had much hype for this game. I had kinda fallen out of gaming over a few years when Versus XIII was announced, so this wasn't a huge build up for me. That said, I actually really enjoyed this game. There were some definite story holes (it just sort of seemed like there were missing cutscenes or something) but I enjoyed the world, the combat, and the characters. I've even had the urge to jump back in and probably will eventually with NG+. This was a very easy platinum, too.

Platinum #60 - Final Fantasy XIII
FFXV got me on a Final Fantasy kick, so I decided to tackle this beast over the holidays. I liked it a lot in some ways, there were also many aspects of the game that were love/hate for me. The battle system clicked for me about a dozen hours in, and it shines when you're in a groove. The grind for weapons wasn't too bad for me because I like checklists and I kept track of everything as I went along. The platinum wasn't really hard, just time consuming.

Platinum #61 - Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories
I also enjoyed this game more than I thought (at least for the first 3 playthroughs). It got old really quickly after that, and the last two playthroughs were a slog. I actually thought leveling Riku to 99 was more annoying than getting all the cards for Sora. Still, it's not a horrible game and I enjoyed my Proud mode runs quite a bit. I think I even beat Riku's story at level 33 or something on Proud, which is odd because I usually take the path of least resistance.

Platinum #62 - Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
It's funny.. Most of the games I've been playing recently are either Final Fantasy related, or PSP remasters (particularly God Eater and God Eater 2) so this fit the bill in both ways. I thought it was an okay game. I didn't really mind much of it until Chapter 8, which I thought was way too long and had some annoying parts like Gilgamesh and the most boring final boss ever. Very easy and quick platinum, though.

Congrats, that flawless raider trophy is a pain. I'm hoping for Destiny 2 there isn't a trophy like that again.

It sucks having to depend on other people for a trophy, although you did it Solo. :)

If you've platted any of the souls games or bloodbourne, you'll find Nioh a lot easier. The game play seems a bit faster paced and the combat is a bit more fluid so that may add to why I found it easier. The nice thing is that there isn't any missable trophies and you don't have to farm much, if at all.

Best place to check is either ps3trophies.org or psnprofiles.com

Not trying to shy away here (all my DI stuffs is put away - thank heavens), but that's where I was able to find partners. Remember you don't have to play the arcade game. Once the game's timer starts both parties can quit and repeat...

#116: Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 – Mediocre, but still fun; I have a soft spot for sniping games... Already bought SGW 1, and will definitely get SGW 3.
#117: Killzone 3 Multiplayer – weird idea of a platinum, but I'm not complaining. My buddy and I managed to save 30+ hours by AFK grinding using turbo controllers!
#118: Starwhal (EU PS3) – My 2nd time platting this game. Thank god for the 2-day PS+ trial.

I mean that last month I earned like two bronze Trophies. And when I have to review, I play on another account so I'm not stuck with games I can never platinum. And then I still mess up.

This reminded me, I think it would be cool if we had a comprehensive list of games that can't ever be platinum'd, so we can avoid them.

in particular games with online trophies that shut down their servers or games with dead online co-op communities

Got 8 platinum so far this year and another 3 100% smaller titles. Pretty happy with my progress so far. Been working away at Yakuza 0 in between, so close to 100% completionist trophy...
