If I recall correctly, you buy your manga online. How do you get such pristine copies?

The three volumes of Toriko were from a store (Forbidden Planet). I ordered Sayonara, Zetsubo Sensei from Amazon.co.uk, they're generally really good with packaging.

However, I buy most of my manga from The Book Depository, they send the books in jiffy bags, but still, I'm yet to receive one in bad condition.

I live in Bahrain and we usually get the same EU editions here. US versions are also available. They might cost a little extra but the good thing is they'll sell it before release dates This special edition costed me $79.

Rugby World Cup 2011 - To tide me over until Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge finally makes its way to the States.
Top Spin 4 - Game finally hit $20 on Amazon so I bit. Nice upgrade from Top Spin 2 for me. Probably the best tennis game ever, very well done. Very Hard kicks my ass though.
Batman: The Animated Series Vol. 1-3 - The full run of Batman: The Animated Series which is probably one of the best cartoons of all time. I hope it holds up better than the X-men animated series which I had been watching on Netflix. Vol. 4 is the new Batman Adventures for those curious as to why I didn't grab it as well, nowhere near the same in quality.

i think if you re-watched this volume, you'd find its better than you remember - the new adventures features some of the best, most entertaining episodes from the entire series to be sure.

Not really a pickup, but I finally brought my second ViewSonic VP2250 from the parents house to my apartment. Bought them a bigger and newer ViewSonic just so I could have my setup of two identical displays. It's great. Now I can have proper translation work layout and of course watch anything on the secondary screen without sacrificing pixels on the first one.

So the pickup item in this photo is one of the two displays. I forgot which.

To the far left you can also see some gunpla parts. The little blue and grey one is my Delta Plus project.

Two SF Kidrobots! And a $20 PSN card for Third Strike. I love those little guys.

TvC Fightstick for $28 shipped. Still waiting on my Sanwa buttons/stick and my Wii USB adapter for playing on PS3/PC.

Glorious pink DS3 I exchanged my broken black one for.

I went to a Protomen concert at the end of last month as well. Picked up both their albums and the record. The three shirts I got are missing as they have been since then worn!

yes those aren't coming out til Dec 23rd in the states, and looking at the pair MarkMan got, those are from one of two online sellers who are actually in a world of heat because it was recently brought to light those are not authentic...

not trying to poop on MarkMan's parade...I'm on the NT and ISS boards and I too got a pair of those and had to learn they were what the sneaker community calls "B- Grade" shoes (shoes made with authentic materials but not sanctioned by Nike)

The actual pairs do hit early but usually a month or two before release...

Obviously Nike would never give the go ahead for places to sell these early. It's just like getting games early... The publisher/dev isn't going to support it, but people will still find ways to get em.

I'm not opening it and risking there being a holiday/Jan-March revision until Ninten makes their big announcement on Tuesday.

A store in Osaka has had this thing in the box kicking around for about 4000 yen for a while now, with a free AV cable and power brick too. Couldn't resist adding it and its beautiful picture quality to my setup.

Also another bite taken out of the vast cookie which is my trying to collect every Nintendo-published Famicom/Famicom Disk System game with box and manual.

That's the cart version of Zelda, Yoshi's Cookie and Yoshi, Fire Emblem Gaiden, Joy Mecha Fight (awesome), Kirby's Adventure, and Mother. Mother especially is in incredible shape, and even has the little promotional flyer advertising the release of the CD single later in 1989. NEAT
