Started work on my Batman half sleeve, just these two for the end of summer. Harley sits to the left of Poison Ivy. By falls end I'm hoping to get Catwoman and another panel of another character to complete the piece.

It's been a bit of an expensive month for me so far:
I am really in love with this collectors edition. It feels substantial and also appears to have had alot of love put into the design and build of it.
A huge hat off to Gamestop in the UK for delivering this 4 days before it should have been. Even amusing was the bit of paper asking me not to play it until Midnight of the 19th. Only really played Live co-op Horde and Beast mode and they are an absolute blast. Beast mode is a great laugh and the new and improved Horde mode is just too good to put down. Me and my mate (who also got his limited edition from Gamestop) played some live co-op of it all day today. Saving Campaign for next Saturday though as Im getting together with the same friend to play through the game on System Link co-op.
Read this while I was on holiday in Portugal. Awesome book but, annoyingly, left alot of unanswered questions.
Continuing the Gears of war theme, I picked up the boardgame and I was immediately impressed with the overall quality to all the components - especially the miniatures.

Some Dystopian Wars Miniatures. Trying to get a few friends into this. I love the Steampunk setting and the quality of the Resin miniatures are just astounding.

I didn't buy the NA version of Warhammer because THQ didn't do a retail collector's edition. I was that pissed.

Man I want an IKEA desk so bad, I was happily building it yesterday for like a total of $150 or so. I go to put in my zipcode to estimate shipping and its $380 for shipping alone.

I went to TGS this weekend and picked up a few things there. Some free and some not. Sorry I missed meeting you there Mark.
Most of what I got at TGS 2011 all in one shot minus the Sonic plushie.

Damn that sucks. Had a somewhat same situation with Shadow Run(Snes). Rough times for sure.

Picked up a new chair for my nerd corner/desk. It is a knock off of the Eames/Saarinen Conversation Chair. So comfy and looks great for a desk chair. Bonus, it look like a cute whale when you photoshop eyes on it.
