Really wanted to order that but it seems to be sold out everywhere. Hopefully they release more.

Got these three in the mail today from 3 separate sellers from eBay.

It's my way of saying "fuck you" to all of the first person shooter lovers out there.

Even though they don't give a shit.

Also, I forgot that PAL games won't work on NTSC systems even after you remove the plastic tabs. Anyone have advice for that? Google search sucks.

So first of all, my insane friends gave me this set of Riedel crystal for my 30th birthday. The decanter alone is worth a fortune, not to mention the Vinum single malt glasses and the champagne glasses (also crystal). The Ardbeg Corryvreckan is an old pickup, it was just there on the table.

For the Emperor! Finally got my Space Marine CE. Also picked up the CE of Retribution even though I have it in Steam since launch. It's still rather cheap over at Amazon, so pick it up, definitely worth the admission price. The Horus Heresy book is also new.

seploot03.jpg

Got my Resistance 3 steelbook, Deus Ex hardcover guide book and the augmented version. I also have the CE, picked it up at launch.

And finally another present from my insane friends: the FFIX soundtrack. Mint condition.

Not pictured: a framed lead pencil portrait of myself from my mum that I really like, a lot of booze, Renegade Ops on PSN, Keynote from App Store and the Magnificent Seven on blu-ray. Crazy month.

If you want me, I'll be over in the corner eating instant noodles until the next payday.

Oh, and as a special bonus... a horse tried to eat the bonnet of my truck:

Are you happening to drive up/down a road where a lot of dust (dirt) comes off the road? The horse, and cattle as well, at some time has licked that area and noticed it has yummy tasting minerals (often salt) and wants it. If you provide a salt-lick it can help if this is an issue.

Or a few good bops on the nose.

I already owned Secret of Evermore, but I bought this copy because it came complete with the posters and manual. The other games also came with their manuals and posters. Lufia and Evermore also came with the box, but I have no desire for boxes. I've played through Final Fantasy II many times, but never the others.

Glass straws. Since I started making a fruit smoothie almost every day, I am quickly going through straws. I bought two family packs, which come with adult and kid size smoothie and regular straws.

Don't lie... we know what you're really using those for! Can even see it in the background!

I'll be issuing my invoice to the darn horse. Just joshing! Nah, I don't care about the paint work, I think this adds character to my pick up. Also: Yes, I do happen to drive down a very, very dusty dirt track everyday, which is also very salty due to the fact that it's situated next to the sea!

My ridonkulously heavy bike lock. Need to get a cable for the front of the bike, but dammit I'm not taking any chances with my bike getting jacked again.

Ardbeg, ugh. You must be a REAL scotch lover for this stuff. Got a bottle as a birthday present and oh boy, it tasted like licking 100 year old leather dipped in horse shit. :(
Granted, Ardbeg is definitely an acquired taste. But having tried drams from Supernova, regular 10-year old and Uigedal.

I hope Corryvreckan is at least as good.

Really considering picking up the DE hardcover. Do you recommend it? Would love it as a collector's piece as well as having it right next to me when going for Platinum.

Red Riding Hood BD
FNAC was giving more steel boxes for free then I just got DeusEX one (I haven't even got the game)
I'm fucking sick of Sony, I cannot understand what the hell are they waiting to give europe BD controller 2.0, Headset 2.0 and Headset/headphones 7.1. They don't want my money so I got all of them overseas.

I was hoping to have a few slightly more relevant items to show you, but they haven't arrived. :'(

These were £11 from Amazon and they're so much better quality than my last ones. Looking forward to trying them out... the last shave with my last pair didn't turn out very tidy. :p

I have briefly browsed through it and it seems really solid.

It's got breakdowns of all missions and side missions, an explanation of the various bonus experience boosts, a detailed guide to all trophies and maps with what appear all passwords and keypad PINs. But the best part is a 30 page end supplement with very nice game artwork and QnA from the team. For example, completing the soundtrack took three years, all in.

The book is a quality product and highly spoilerific.

Got these pretty awesome speakers, thanks to the speaker audiophile thread.

I never beat the first gears of war but people like marcus? I thought he was a douche

I was never terribly enamored with any of the characters.

But I like John Dimaggio, so the audio part is fine anyway.

I understand what you mean. When I was in the UK for some work last year, I picked up some wireless Singstar microphones. I never understood why they didn't release them in the US.

BTW, I also picked up the Sony wireless headphones this month (sorry, no pics) and have been enjoying them. I had a problem the first night where my WiFi connection from the PS3 would get lost. I figured it was interference with the bluetooth dongle for the headphones. Luckily I had a short USB extender (male to female) cord that I used with the dongle to get it away from the front of the PS3. I just routed the wire back behind the PS3 hand haven't had any further issues plus it looks cleaner as well (I think).

Anyway, enjoy the headphones.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I also changed the channel my router was using from 6 to 1. Someone suggested that on some google link I found when trying to get rid of the interference. ... just thought I'd mention it incase you have similar problems.
