First time buying the standard edition GoW... but the $20 Amazon promo credit was enough to put me over the edge. Fuck spending twice as much on a CE that will be half the price in a few months, I plan on selling this version after I beat it (for at least $40) and buying the Epic Edition when it drops to $60 or so.
I waited until this week to buy this game even though I really enjoyed the first one. Holy hell is it polished! Every level is a extremely entertaining to play and there's always something new around the bend (or horizon, you being on planetoids and all, hehehe). So much joy pressed on a disc
Also imported ExciteBots to my PAL-land. I finally took the time to install The Homebrew Channel on my Wii and the Gecko OS so I can boot discs from any region. After this game I'll import Zangeki no Reginleiv (I loved EDF2k17) and that new Rhythm Tengoku game. Any other import tips for exclusive Wii US/JP games?
Following this thread for a long time. But never post myself, untill now. Had alot of gaming related pickups. Expensive month for me... (ico and shadow of the collossus and god of war volume 2 also on the way for this month).
Anyways here we go:
Only bought the assasins creed 1 with big statue this month, just wanted all my assassins creed on one pic was pretty hard to track down with ps3 branded outer box.
Some more extremely rare press kits, the heavy rain is awsome since when you open the box a voice says 'are u prepared to suffer to save your son'. The resistance is also very cool.
Even more press kits i managed to track down, allready owned a few (the god of war 3 press kit, modnation and dc online, now i am really on a roll collecting ps3 1st and 2nd party press kits). Loving the heavenly sword press kit with beautifull art (can make more pics if people are interested, havent seen this much around).
And my regular games for this month, resident evil e-capcom edition, love to have it on a disc. Dead space USA Ce since the euro ps3 ce didnt come with plasma cutter gun. Also some disgaea <3 still sealed though, no time to play it yet. Allready finished resistance and deus ex, both awsome

Grab a Mad Catz Midi Adapter Pro (assuming it has a brain) or an Ion brain for 360/PS3 and you could play RB3 with it.
(The kit looks like an Ion Rocker kit without the brain, can't remember the name of the maker off the top of my head)

I'm a little late to posting the following purchases but I got them during the first week of September.
Razer BlackWidow Mechanical Keyboard. $71
I was using a generic Dell keyboard and it served me well. It was time for an upgrade and settled on the mechanical variety. So far, so good. The only gripe I initially had with it was getting used to having the macro buttons on the left side of the keyboard. More often than not, I would hit the M5 key thinking I'm pressing CTRL.
After taking a look at that picture, I'm reminded that I need to dust.
Justice League #1.
I ordered through Midtown Comics' 40% presale promotion along with all of the other 51 new #1s. There was a lot of teasing in Justice League #1 but big things are expected to come. I'll definitely follow this from month-to-month.
Following month-to-month. I will buy the continuing story arc/series.
Detective Comics. Last panel really had me psyched.
Batwing. Better than I expected. A surprise hit for me.
Justice League. A lot of teasing but big things is sure to come.
Action Comics. I love this take on Superman.
Static Shock. Static's dialogue is fun to read through. Last panel is a jaw-dropper.
Issue-by-Issue. I'll give the next issue a chance.
Animal Man. Intriguing but Im still on the fence.
Men of War. Very fun read, interesting concept.
Swamp Thing. A bit difficult to follow but I liked what I understood.
Batgirl. Shes fallible which is a nice trait to see for a change (for a superhero).
Dropping. I'm not buying the next issues.
O.M.A.C. Mindless action.
Justice League International. Feels rushed, just a smorgasbord of superheroes lumped on a team.
Stormwatch. A big letdown, was expecting more.
Hawk & Dove. Plot is meh and the art is awful.
Green Arrow. The worst. Every cliché of comics right here.
Also of note, I'm a fairly new comic book reader. Although I am dropping a few series already, I still enjoyed reading them despite their downfalls. Maybe not Green Arrow; it was still the worst.
