Netflix might be able to revive Jericho

Nathan - Castle
Alan - Suburgatory
Morena - Homeland
Jewel - The LA Complex

I actually think LAC wraps mid-summer.

Though, I guess that Suburgatory doesn't really matter. Still, there's too much conflict and not enough time.

Well Alan isn't a problem. I could see Morena being one though.

SG-U, Screw the Haters

BTW: RIP Joel Goldsmith, Composer of the StarGate series (son of Jerry Goldsmith), died a couple days ago.

I'd love for SG-U to get a third season. It finally started hitting its stride and then ended. It's the only Stargate show I've seen still. I should really rectify that.

And filming would have to work around Nathan's schedule and contract. Good luck with that.

I had no idea any of them were working. I figured Castle ended years ago. I guess I really dont watch much TV.

Netflix is already bringing back the show I would want the most but I certainly wouldn't say no to more Jericho. Or Firefly. Or Veronica Mars. Or countless other pipe dream revivals I could imagine.

Woah, please don't cocktease me that they are bringing back Jericho! I was just found out they made a Season 3 in comic book form and now, Netflix, is interested in this show. Nuts!

I pray to god you're not talking about Arrested Development.

Nah, I actually was one of the few who watched AD from day 1. Looking forward to its return.

Love the Pushing Daisies suggestion.. that would be AMAZING and outside of Kristin Chenoweth, I don't think anyone is doing anything.. GCB probably won't last anyway.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I'm willing to bet people at Netflix have discussed bringing back Firefly, but they realize it ain't happening.

Besides which, it'd be hard to bring back the Firefly that people loved after Serenity.

If they must bring back an old show, I'd love to see more Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles.

I loved Jericho but if they are going to do this, I'd prefer they just start over from the beginning. Reboot it, commit to a certain number of episodes and make sure the story is told well, at the right pace and without the demands of having to hit ratings targets or a specific number of shows.

season 1 of jericho was so awesome, and the second was good but not as good. I'm all for this.

I would also like to see them do this with Rome.

Jerico was a good but something about it seemed off. The people never really seemed to struggle to survive.

Another season of Jericho would be awesome, but it would be even more awesome if they just decided to ignore season 2 and just pick up after the finale again. Not that season 2 was bad or anything, but it was painfully clear they were not expecting to get any more episodes and were trying to wrap up as much as possible.

I was a fan of Jericho. What's shocking to me is that it was cancelled 4 friggin years ago. Crap, time flies. I'd watch it if it got revived. And yes, I MISS Journeyman a lot. Great show. NBC, where shows go to die...quickly.

Fuck yes. I actually finished reading Season 3 (the comic) yesterday. Apparently season 4 (also comic) is starting this summer, so I wonder what they'll do if this becomes a reality. I absolutely adore Jericho, and was even going to change my avatar last night to the logo, but I was too lazy to crop... weird timing!

I don't get why they keep kicking around the idea of keeping these shitty shows around (recently kicked around saving Terra Nova as well). How bout a new season of Veronica Mars or something like that? Get a show with real pedigree back, not fringe stuff that is poor quality and was poorly received from a ratings perspective.
Kiss my ass. All of it. I won't mind.

Although, I'd love to see it happen to Veronica Mars, too.

Apparently they concluded it in a book :(
At least it got a conclusion in some form, right? I've never actually seen Dark Angel, though.

Anyway, I already told my sister about the possibility of Jericho coming back. She's excited, too :D I watched Jericho on my own the first time, but then a few months later I felt the urge to rewatch it, and made her watch it with me. She fell in love with it almost as much as me.

Exactly. Even if Nathan cleared his ENTIRE non-Castle schedule, Morena's schedule would make it impossible. Not to mention every single writer on Firefly is a senior staff on another project - same with his Dollhouse team.

yes. YES please.

I'd buy a lifetime subscription to Netflix if they can find a way to revive Firefly

I'd be on the proverbial Netflix teet for a long time.

Except each person on the show said they'd drop their shit to re-start Firefly. Call them on their word.

My Firefly addiction was kind of re-sparked when I watched Chuck the first time recently. Just finished it a couple nights ago and now that there's no more John Casey in my life I miss Firefly even more.

the show was such a cocktease. I watched it and said to myself 'my god, finally here is television sci-fi I can actually watch. And it's not Doctor Who!' Then it goes and gets cancelled. I am doomed to be unable to watch sci-fi shows that appeal to me, if they're not called Doctor Who.

I got really close with Battlestar Galactica, and then that fucking final season and finale. Fuck that show.

You can't. That's why series regulars have contracts. Morena and Nathan are integral parts of their respective shows, both of which are relative hits. There's no way that their schedules will be in synch until Castle ends in two or three years.

I want this to have a conclusion :

And not one of this "hey they give us two TV movies, let's not conclude anything" crap

Well they probably didn't know how to finish it.

Joss loves killing off characters so its not as if he couldn't plug the holes and change the dynamic of the show. In Joss We Trust.

if they brought back firefly they would have to pretend the movie never happened. was never fond of the film amnyways

I wouldn't be surprised if Fillion has a 'Firefly is back, get out of contract free' clause. But yeah, in the current state it wouldn't work but it's not a stretch to imagine them talking about it a few years in advance to avoid contract problems.

Hell yes, if only they would do this. God I miss new Stargate. :(

Also Gina Torres - Suits, whenever that is

Wasn't the story in Jericho tied up by the end of the second season? Would MUCH prefer a second season of Journeyman. That show ruled.

Forgot about that. Suits has a Winter-Summer production schedule. Even if one character was killed off, there are too many other holes.

I very much doubt he has that clause. Who would want to work with an actor who, at a drop of a hat, would destroy an entire production that would lose millions of dollars, to do his own pet project?

Hope all the jericho fans are spamming CBS facebook and emails and emailing the netflix execs. Check out the Save Jericho page on facebook to get links and addresses. I really hope this show comes back!

Edit: To everyone asking why Jericho, according to statements by Netflix execs they are going after shows that have a high number of viewers on their streaming service that are realistically obtainable. Jercho is always up there in the most watched netflix shows list.

I watched Jericho and I didn't ask for this. It was cancelled because it went to shit.

Now give me another season of carnivale.

So basically you guys want all the Firefly actors to fuck over their own careers just so you can have the show back?

Also it's useless without Whedon, and after a certain little superhero movie Whedon now probably has better things to than cater to a few thousand fans with some internet show.
