About 9 days ago my internet just flat out stopped working randomly in my dorm. I've got the ethernet cable plugged into the outlet and computer but I get nothing in the way of a connection. If I go to Network Settings, both my Network Bridge 4 and 1394 connection simply show <Unavailable> under the Support tab (shows TCP/IP info including IP address, address type, gateway, etc.).
I'm assuming my network card somehow has gone bad.. but it seems odd that it would do it randomly. Is there any form of diagnostic I could use to check it or what? Thanks for any potential help.
