Ace Combat 3 JP > Ace Combat 2 (nostalgic) > Ace Combat 5 > Ace Combat 4 > Ace Combat (sorry)

To me the story was better in SS, the art/cutscenes were better, no annoying wingmen, liked the chatter better in 4, etc. Just preference. Who's to say which is better? I liked Shattered Skies more, it's just my opinion. Relax. Everyone has different tastes. I'm not saying I didn't like Unsung War. I own and enjoyed it, but I much prefered SS.

Anyways this topics about Zero. Lets not turn it into a AC4 vs AC5 debate.

BTW, i totally agree with Foil. Although AC5 is a little bit better in terms of gfx and gameplay, the story of AC4 and the way it was told in AC4 are much better!!! This made me like AC4 more than AC5.

I totally agree. AC3 is by far the best...The locations, the music, the gameplay EVERYTHING was perfect.

sorry, i answared bit to harsh. overall, i have to say, ace combat is moire fun to me, because the mission design is clearly the best in the whole series. ace combat 4 repeatet the same missions from ace combat 2 & 3. the only thin, i like more in ace combat 3, are the chatter between the missions, and the choices, you could made through the game. but overall, ace combat 2 and especially 3 were far to easy.

i like the look of "zero", with all the aircraft paintshops, it reminds me a lot of the first air combat. hopefully, there will be also some good story.

Thanks for the screens! Ace Combat 4 was my first AC game and I absolutley loved everything about it: music, gameplay, anime storytelling screens, graphics, etc.

Import AC3
US AC4

AC2 doesn't really have much of a story IIRC but had some cool mission.... AC3 has a big ass story which was ripped out of the US version so get the import.... AC4 and AC5 both have cool stories though folks tend to very on whether they like 4 or 5 more... me? I love all of em.

it looks to me Sony is trying to push 3rd party developers with high rated game till the ps3 comes out trying to slow down the xbox 360 as much as they can

Ace Combat IV or the Japanese version of AC3. You should play both of them IMO, play AC4 first. AC5 is cow dung, stay away!
