Didn't see anything posted.

I want them to go either back to the 90s animated series or spectacular spiderman and finish the stories! There was still quite a lot they could have covered before they both bit the dust :(

Hmmm, not sure about that art style.

Then again, Spectacular Spider-Man received the same skepticism and ended being the top tier.

I have exactly the opposite opinion ... the style reminds me more of spetacular spider-man than the "buy marvel action figures" that is ultimate spider man

...why would they ever do that? No kid is waiting on a badly aged show from the 90's, and Spectacular should only be brought back if they could get Weisman back in the hotseat.

Is Ultimate's run finally over? The show had some high points but overall was pretty much garbage.

Could be good. Miles Morales show could also be good.

Christopher Daniel Barnes crossover please.

his real Spider-Man this time

Make him Spider-Man 2099, if they ever get around to that.

I don't think I've ever been happier to see a show bite the dust than with Ultimate Spider-Man. Good riddance to bad rubbish. A new Avengers show next, please.

There are lots of bad Spider-Man incarnations and they brought all of them back for Spider-Verse.

Any Animated Spidey is never a bad choice

Avengers is actually getting decent since Wacker took over but it can't escape the Loeb stench.

Pretty impressive how with nothing but a small teaser image, they still manage to loudly convey what a bland, focus-grouped toy commercial it'll be.

Prove me wrong, Disney, prove me wrong.

So does this retcon Ultimate out of their awful Animated universe or?

Most likely. USM has been decent but it just seemed to stray further and further away from being Spider-Man. The artstyle is interesting doesn't look like the plain, stock artstyle of the other Marvel shows.

"Back to basics" doesn't excite me. Every single Spider-Man media has been "back to basics" or "focusing on the roots of Spider-man", save for Spider-Man Unlimited. Give me older high school teacher Peter Parker or something, do something different for once.

What do you want? that he should be some type of role model for kids or something?

So it's a rebooted cartoon that will probably be more in line with the movie.

Bring in Greg Weisman as show runner and Josh Keaton back as Peter Parker and I'm game. Or get someone else that's capable of running a quality animated series.

They did. It's called Ultimate Spider-man.

Doesn't legit have to be the 90s show but a storyline like it that followed the comics. Plus it's on Netflix these days (the entire thing) so any kid can watch it who has access to it if they wanted to

Marvel Comics' popular web-slinger superhero returns to his teenage years and his earliest days as a superhero in Marvel's Spider-Man,

Not this shit again. Dude was only in high school for 3 years of his 40 years of history. Give us grown ass spiderman

We already got those.

The 60s one
80s
Amazing Friends
90s
the MTV show.

Shockingly, Spectacular and Ultimate are the only High School era Spideys and now this.

They should just revive spectacular spider man. Or hire the same people at least.

Easier said then done. Most of the people involved with Spectacular have moved on to other projects. They can't just stop what they are doing and go back to doing Spectacular.

Shows that come back after being cancelled are rarely anywhere near as good as they were when they were first on anyway.

It was probably better off at Sony anyway, the show was hyper focused on Spider-man and his mythos to its benefit, Disney would just want to push crossovers with other heroes constantly.

EDIT: The two head guys on this one being from Robot Chicken and Ultimate Spider-man don't really fill me with a lot of hope.

Sony and Disney/Marvel are doing swell with partnership on movies and games.

I wish they could on the TV animation side by just collabing on getting spectacular Spiderman back. I mean Greg wiesman is at Disney working on Star wars Rebels.

Sigh... oh well. Let's see how this does.

I hope this has animation driven moments. Like good choreographed fight scenes.

Greg Weisman had whole book filled with notes on what the history of that Marvel Universe was and why no other superheroes were around at the time.

He was waiting for Sony/Marvel to let him pull the trigger.
