Oh my GOD. Battlefield 1942 is absolutely my all-time favourite online game. Vietnam was pure garbage. Now THIS looks like the true sequel. Can't wait.

That is seriously one of the best trailers for a game I have seen. Excellent editing, music what little we could hear was suited to the action, and it showed off all the things that a trailer for this kind of game should. Graphics, setting, vehicles, and some of the more impressive aerial feats that were pulled off there.

Oh and it looks abso-freaking-lutely amazing.

Why oh why wont EA/DICE release a DEMO?

The BF42 demo was so fun, then with BFV we didn’t get one. Looks like the same thing will happen with BF2.

Its pissing me off. Though I have no doubt the game will be great, I'd still like to test it before purchase.

Most impressive. I think they are trying to stress that not one of gamestyle is superiour to the other, whether it be on foot, driving your flying. Each can neutralise the other.

I read an interview recently (last month) where they asked DICE about the rumor a demo would be released in February (I know it's now March). DICE denied anything was coming in February, but hardly squashed that a demo wouldn't be coming. I think if the game is as good as these videos look, they'll definetly be a demo. After all the pissed off Vietnam players (And EA can see this just by Gamespy server stats), they have to realize they need to convice people to come back. So if it delivers, they'll be a demo.

Good. Make the soldier-class with lock-on missles only get pistols... and all is fair. What's annoying is having planes and helicopters that can't be combatted from the ground. A couple good pilots can dominate a game if your only recourse is air-on-air (And dealing with the circle jerk of getting aircraft).

GOOD! Pilots prove to be VERY annoying for every other kind of player in 1942 and Vietnam. Having 3 heli's circle straffing a spawn for insta-death seven times in a row isn't exactly my idea of cool. I'm sure it'll be balanced out, either way.

Anyway, looks awesome. I wish we could get a direct-feed, though.

Man, there are so many ways to take down planes as it is already. AA, .50 Cal, Rockets, assualt guns.

Lets try OSF server? Not a bad server, but no FF is on and you cant see tags of enemies or firendlies. Strict server though, no entering enemy base and it could be hard to get in(usually full).
