New Black screens - Forest at night

That's one major reason, but along with that, comes the extra coding requirements. They've been away from GC for a while now while they've been pushing PS2 to its limits (and bringing XBOX along for the ride). I'm sure they are applying a lot of the knowledge gained from BO3 and Revenge to the creation of Black...and since none of that experience exists on the GC hardware, I don't think it would be a simple port. They'd end up putting a lot of work into the GC version and likely get nothing out of it...

I would agree, only if they hadn't done such a great job porting BO2 to the GC. I think its more personal than technical(coding).

At this point, the excuse would be "lack of sales"...

It would require too much effort to port it to the GC when one considers how poorly it would sell. The GC is basically a dead system, at this point.
Yeah, and the Xbox is so full of life...

I don´t think games like TimesSplitters have sold less on GC than they did on Xbox, so, no, I don´t think this is a good excuse. Tell me quality third party games that have sold poorly on GC when compared to the other two consoles, and then I might agree with that line of thought.

Looks like Criterion has really outdone themselves with this one. Hopefully EA will continue to give them some creative freedom in the future. It is a shame it's not coming to GameCube though, especially since there's no multiplayer.

Yeah, I think this is more EA's doing, they haven't made a single GCN game since they were bought and it's more likely do to the fact that EA doesn't want to put their games on the cube.
