Sometimes it's the games ambition. Robinson Crusoe has one of the biggest faq's around. Simply it's the combinations of cards and permutations they present.
I don't own Mage Knight but I've read the rules. I think I would have issues fast tracking rules clarifications in that book. That's where the Geek is handy for player aids etc.
Well that is true but RC's rulebook is also really badly written, there is just no logic flow to it.
Mage Knights walkthrough is great for first time you play the game, but dont even think about taking a break from the game and trying to come back. As you say fast tracking rules in that rulebook is impossible.
I hope they fix this in the new Star Trek version.
