Can't wait for the day when you literally win by paying more money than your opponent
You already missed it.

Well, but a lot of those Gobblegums are useless if you play Zombies seriously. They added the ability to turn gums into Divinium as well, so it's not that bad.
Also tha tis coop, so if some fool wants to spend all that money to get gums let him. It's going to help you out in the end.
That's shitty. I stopped playing sometime after the third DLC pack dropped, so I must have missed the crazy stat guns.
yeah that stealth camo is really going to tip the balanceGaming in 2016 pay to win
Oh shit, I totally forgot Advanced Warfare's guns had different stat variations. It actually made that much of a difference?
Oh no, Call Of Duty doing the same thing as TF2
Oh perish forbid
Everyone will be so mad

(As long as it's just cosmetics I'm cool)

I really hate that mona lisa image. Call of duty definitely has some shitty DLC policies, but this one does nothing to deny your experience, fragment the player base, or give you an advantage over others in a competitive mode.
Bal Obsidian Steed, HBR3 Insanity, ARX Hole Puncher and the infamous ASM Speakeasy were completely overpowered when they came out. Never fixed too, which was neat.
This was never going to affect review scores unless you're mad about shitty cosmetic items that you easily earn for free or bubblegums in zombies mode.So the new tactic is to patch em in after the launch, after getting all reviews in place, eh ?
Honestly I didn't even know where to buy them when I played last night. It's so easy to get Cryptokeys that I don't see any reason and none of the items affect gameplay so who cares? It's content somebody spent time and money making so they can charge for it like everything else in the world.

Do supply drops still give duplicate items? Because that would be fucked if you spent money on unlocks to get shit you already had.
The patch bait & switch to boost reviews continues.
TF2 is free though.
This picture annoys me so god damn much.
Whoever made this was thick enough to think $60 in 1999 is worth the same as $60 in 2015. And then you 'still' get muppets reposting it as if they're proving a point.
And that doesn't even begin to take into consideration the cost of how developing the stupid things has increased. Infuriatingly stupid picture.

Good thing Blops3's supply drops are only cosmetic items. Unlike in AW.

I think they do, but you can trade in your dupes to get your crypto keys back.
Yes. But with the new patch you can burn duplicate items to get some cryptokeys back.
So you release the game without any BS, get positive reviews and word of mouth, and then trojan horse the BS in when it is past its initial marketing cycle.
That is the new M.O., right?
Patching it in after just to keep reviewers from discussing microtransactions is fucking horseshit.
Stand by your product and whatever decisions you make, adding it on after the reviews is so sneaky.
Poor form.
Yeah that affected gameplay, this does notOh shit, I totally forgot Advanced Warfare's guns had different stat variations. It actually made that much of a difference?
Cost isn't the point of that picture. You're literally paying the same (more) for/"same" content.less

That gamers have a tendency to misunderstand and/or blatantly ignore the content that comes in a game and usually don't stop to see what the microtransactions are actually for before complaining about them? As well as the fact that they have a ridiculous tendency to make blanket statements? Yes it illustrates that point quite well.It might not be completely accurate, but the point it is trying to make is obvious.
This COD has more content at release than any of the others in the past five years if not ever. Multiple campaigns, zombies, and a lot of MP modes and maps. Come on now.I like this one: https://i.imgur.com/W1TAyGu.jpg

I think people are missing the point. i have been playing the game every day for a month and a half now and i still fucking hear 'One shot, one kill, wont even hear it coming' at the end of every round. The drop rates on some of this stuff is ridiculous.
Sure they are cosmetics, but its part of the game. I have put in over a 100 hours i think and i still dont have a different call out? at best i have like 5 different taunts and boosts for my characters but no call out whatsoever. a hundred hours and i am still hearing the generic call out for each character at the end of the game.
this isnt as bad as Destiny latest ripoff, but its continuing destiny's tradition of locking stuff behind RNG instead of simply letting us earn this stuff.
Literally nothing changes at all so no, all the shit you can buy can be obtained just by playing. So the new tactic is to patch em in after the launch, after getting all reviews in place, eh ?
Its the new trend. The patch bait & switch to boost reviews continues.
If it's just cosmetic I don't see the problem.
Seems like it's just cosmetic stuff. I have no problem with this.
